As a head of the IT department, my role is important in both software and hardware.
For the software part, I have created 3 applications, “HR Software”, “Sales Software” and “IT Software”.
- “HR Software”: a standalone application used by the HR department to manage employees. The application collects information such as attendance, salary, employment date, evaluation and etc….. Users are able to generate useful reports such as payroll, monthly cost breakdown, employee turnover and more.
- “Sales Software”: A web based application with the purpose of managing projects created by gathering information such as areas, prices, selling prices, clients name and much more. User are capable of generating beneficial reports such as project diagram, sales report, forecasted sales inflow and more.
- “IT Software”: a standalone application used by the IT department to manage order, stock and hardware exchange between sites. The application collects information such as supplier, product, prices and etc….. Users are able to generate useful reports such as Material request, orders and more.
User access and security is an important feature for all the applications enabling administrators to control login/logout, read, write and view to different modules.
For the hardware part, my duties consisted of :
1. Traffic flow control.
2. Establishing and maintaining a healthy network.
3. Server Room Maintenance.
4. Backup Strategies
As a computer and communication engineer, I was hired as an IT Manager to build the IT department. My duty was to create and maintain a well-structured network with a functioning hardware and software components.
I was also handling additional tasks such as :
1. Contacting and handling shipments with third party companies.
2. Client Analysis.
3. Accounting as a plus knowledge.
