International and local sourcing for materials/services pertaining to instrumental, electrical, mechanical and civil Receive purchase requisitions, identify source, send inquiries, receive quotations, prepare commercial and technical bid evaluations Negotiate price, payment, terms and conditions with suppliers for issuance of Purchase Order Prepare tender document for materials and sub-contracts Expedite vendors for all technical document submission and deliveries up to receipt of goods and services Co-ordinate with client and TPI agency for the inspection of materials at vendor works Finalize freight forwarder for the shipment of materials and arrange insurance coverage for imported goods Prepare weekly procurement status reports and progress schedules Create monthly performance reviews and reports focusing on overall sourcing requirements Participate in meetings with suppliers and sub-contract representatives
Ownership of projects related to process development and working directly with production manufacturing teams
Provide contributions to process improvement through scheduling of runs and tracking process parameters
Analysis of parametric data and preparation of summaries for distribution to the R&D and production teams
Maintain process and measurement equipment by performing periodic checks
Perform set-up and troubleshoot semiconductor processing equipment
Process test runs and prepare records, charts, and graphs of results to identify yield problems or test new products`
Monitor and improve key operations using principles such as cycle time, throughput, WIP levels, yield, and productivity
Monitor, audit and provide guidance to line operators
Provide training to other Cree personnel where appropriate to improve over-all capabilities and knowledge
Increase efficiencies through focused improvement activities, specifically through monitoring processes, identifying gaps, developing and implementing project plans
Develop and conduct validation skills audits to support Daily Operations and Continuous Skills Development (Processing and Packaging areas)
Develop and validate training playbooks used to effectively train operators and associates
Evaluate areas of opportunities and create retraining plans
Develop a variety of training materials to ensure plant wide safety, quality and productivity
