Main tasks:
o Provide strategic investment advice to support management decision making and execution

o Hessah Al Mubarak District Project: First mixed-use development project to be developed by
the private sector in Kuwait. Project size: approx. USD 1 billion. The project involved sourcing
and securing investors and establishing a special purpose vehicle “Fund type structure”. Current
role involves day-to-day management of the project and communicating with investors.
o Assoufid Project: is a gated mixed-use development in the Moroccan city of Marrakech, that
spreads over 2.5 million m2 of naturally elevated land. Estimated project size: USD 200
million.

• Assessed new investment opportunities (both development and acquisition) in Europe, GCC, and North America
• Sourced, analyzed and closed investments in income generating assets and funds in Europe and North America
• Prepared and reviewed business plans of the Group’s subsidiaries across different fields (construction, project management, hospitality, and landscaping) and recommended corrective actions to improve performance
• Reviewed projects’ budgets and communicated the department’s comments with project managers in Oman and Bahrain
• Tracked the performance and progress of ongoing projects in the GCC region
• Prepared quarterly investor reports to update the investors about the performance of their portfolios
• Helped and coordinated with other subsidiaries in order to prepare their monthly performance reports
• Elaborated the company’s investment strategy aiming at deploying USD 320 million in the next 5 years and conducted all required gap analysis
• Pitched potential investors for investments into real estate developments in Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain
• Contributed to the firm’s 5 years business plan
• Investment Committee Coordinator: presented to the Committee members opportunities in Europe, North America, and North Africa.

 Conducted in-depth market and industry research across several sectors within the MENA. Industry experience includes: Real estate, financial services, investments, oil & gas, education, and healthcare
 Prepared buy-side and sell-side advisory reports including business plans, information memorandums and business valuation (pricing analysis) reports for clients across several sectors in both Arabic and English languages
 Constructed financial models and conducted valuation exercises of entities in Kuwait and the region using different valuation methods (DCF, multiples, and NAV)
 Provided buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence assistance (EBITDA analysis, working capital, budgeting variances) to reputable companies in the region across several sectors on their proposed
transactions
 Assisted in carrying out a purchase price allocation exercise for a listed Kuwaiti holding company
 Used and became familiar with certified information sources / databases in conducting market research such as BMI, Zawya, World Bank, Government Agencies, EIU, and Bloomberg Professional (Bloomberg terminal)
