Approval of materials, review approval of shop drawings, manage all submittal to authorities, liaison with relevant authorities having jurisdiction over the project Trakhees, Nakheel and Dubai Municipality, managing quality of works, change requests, chairing technical meetings, attending progress meetings, coordinate and liaison between all consultants specialists of the projects, coordinating all trades, such as Architectural, structural, MEP, soft and hard land escape, review and recommendation of RFV (Request For Variation) monitoring progress at site, incorporating LEED requirements as the project is silver LEED nominee, troubleshooting technical issues.
The project implementing ACONEX application as communication and management tool.
putting together with the owner estimates, including budgets and timescales preparing and presenting documents for tenders, prequalification documentation for contractors and consultants contributing to work planning, and briefing project teams, contractors and suppliers agreeing any additional work to be done within set timescales gathering all information together for invoicing at the end of the project supplying information to resolve disputes if they arise Identifying areas for improvement in existing contracting processes.
Prequalify the consultants for the new projects, writing the request for Proposals (RFP), set and review the contract documents, liaison between the consultants and contractors as the client, also prequalifying the contractors bidding for the new projects, involved in all construction aspects and activities, monitoring the progress of construction, and compliance of the product with the company identity and engineering standards, manage and administrate the contracts with consultants and contractors, also the AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) for existing company premises, monitoring all maintenance operations.
Shop drawings review/approval, ITP and baseline program review/approval, monitoring progress, coordinating between architectural, structural and MEP drawings if any discrepancies, review and approval of all construction method statements. issuance of NCR, Attending progress and technical meetings, liaise with project management(client representative) and contractor, supervise staff on site, process of payments certificate, analysis and justification of V.O (variation orders) approval/rejection, compatibility of all parties with contractual obligations, prepare submission for DM(Dubai Municipality), Monitoring HSE on site
Shop Drawing Approval, designing, material approval, documentation and design submissions to DM and site trouble shooting and site supervision, design detailing, coordinate between different trades of construction. Method of construction and scheduling review/approval. For various mega projects, such as JBR, Burj Khaleefa residencies phase 1, 2 and 3, Index tower @DIFC and marina promenade
Member of consulting team mainly advice the contractor for the best execution methods and to keep up progress and high quality standards, issuing and approving shop drawing to meet the design requirements, reporting to the project manager the progress and to coordinate all discrepancies between architectural and structural drawings. Supervising all civil engineering works and design issues (RFI) .
Member of the Team Act as Public Works Department Representatives.
