Manages two ready mix concrete plants and two block batching plants
•Determines work procedures and assigns duties to personnel associated with the batching and hauling of concrete as well as maintenance of the plant and equipment
•Understanding of sales and customer relationships with an emphasis on valued-added sales approach to maximize profit margin on sales
•Achieve goals for revenue, sales quality, customer relations, production, human resources, management and results of the region’s SHE activities, and investment strategies
•Bring together sales, operations, quality services and other staff functions to form a collaborative organization complementing the goals and objectives.
•Develop and implement annual business unit plans. Plan, develop and implement strategies, policies and procedures that align with the strategic and business plans of the business unit as well as the Division.
•Implement sales-forecasting and operations-planning programs to ensure achievement of revenue goals. Sales planning includes the development of pricing policies, terms and conditions of sales, analysis of competitive products and coordination between sales and operations to maximize profitability
•Use business plans and strategies to appraise operating results in terms of profitability and performance against budget and other matters bearing on the fiscal soundness and operating effectiveness of the organization
•Manage and direct operations consistent with company policies and practices
•Identification of new business opportunities in the area
•Knowledge of ready-mix material production methods, products and technology
• Inspects personnel performance for quality and quantity
• Participates in the training, discipline and discharge of personnel as required
•Monitors plant operating costs
•Meets budgeted levels for sales, maintenance and production.

Ensures effective utilization and management of equipment and manpower, workshop skills and control of cost and planning to achieve Profit and operation cost targets as well maintaining high standards in quality and customer service. Responsible for organizing the Plant Production, Sales and Technical department in coordination with concerned Regional functional managers under supervision of Regional Manager for achievement of financial and operation objectives for my station.
•Monitor, recommend, implements repairs and routine maintenance of equipment, buildings and grounds. Investigates abnormal operating events or equipment failures to determine cause; makes adjustments, repairs, and/or modifications as needed.
•Enforce safety procedures to ensure safety of personnel working at the plant or delivering/receiving materials
•Sales skills including follow up new projects and clients, developing long-term relationships and maintaining client contact data with current customers, negotiating tender and contract terms, forecasting and collection
•Monitor and control the Key Performance Indicators KPI such as CM/CM, mixers pump and plant productivity and utilization

Ensure clear communication through daily meetings
•Improve the overall appearance of all mobile and plant equipment.
•To maintain highest safety standards possible with a goal of zero incidents and ensure timely and accurate reporting of accident investigations.
•Improve the efficiency of utilization of trucks by the drivers.
•Maintaining a full staff of delivery and production personnel.
•Assure that all drivers and plant personnel report to work at the assigned time and clock out when instructed to do so.
•Review the Drivers manual with all drivers.
•Supervise the training of all mixer operators and plant operating personnel.
•Enforcement of company policies and procedures.
•Assure that all delivery personnel are operating equipment properly.
•Inspect all accident sites with assistance from the Safety Department.
•Screen all driver complaints and problems with truck maintenance, etc.
•Assist and coordinate the removal of concrete from any stuck or damaged truck.
•Review with the Maintenance Manager any excessive maintenance cost reports and corrective action necessary.
•Implement, maintain approved inventory procedures at all plants and ensure that all daily, weekly and monthly inventory procedures and reports are accurate and forwarded to the regional office in a timely manner.
•Assure that all batch plant facilities are kept neat, clean, and safe.
•Ensure that all automated batching equipment is properly maintained to assure that all plant equipment is in proper working order and that all batch plant operators complete daily, weekly, monthly and annual P.M. checklists for plant maintenance records.
•Ensure all environmental and regulatory issues are properly adhered to.
