Reporting to the Global CIO in London and being a member of the global leadership team (7 members)
, I am heading 2 out of 5 world regions and managing 30 IT leads with 100+ IT staff to give support to
over 6000 users in 20+ countries .
Work High lights:
 Leading the delivery of any regional projects and working with PMO and Change Managers
to ensure a proper implementation and delivery in the region.
 Acting as regional Business advisor to Regional and Country leaders, with particular focus
on helping them understand how to use technology to deliver high quality programs.
 Regional network support - i.e. all regional and country IT data and voice
telecommunications networks
 Regional server and storage support i.e. oversight of in-country - Cloud data processing
and storage facilities
 Field technologies i.e. radio and satellite communications services, power supplies
 Supporting the set-up of regional PMO positions, as defined by global PMO & CIO
 Supporting the delivery of global priority projects in the region, in line with any agreed
PMO plans
 Direct budgetary responsibilities in the order of $1 M per annum, with a broader influence
over country IT spend, estimated at a further $2 M p.a
 Coaching and supporting country office IT staff to implement IT guidelines, standards,
policies and strategy throughout the region, using influencing skills to ensure they are
adopted
 Training and capacity-building field/country office IT support staff located in the
geographical regions, whether relating to hardware, software or policies and procedures
 Working with each global IT service domain leader (applications, user devices, networks,
server & storage management, field technologies) to develop specific regional and country
service strategies and sourcing arrangements which collectively help deliver the overall SCI
IT Strategy.
 Establishing a new ‘service management framework’, based on ITIL industry standards and
tools, with focus on effective incident, problem and change management across center,
regional and country IT staff.
 Working on ICT4D -Technology for programs in the countries (ERP and different
applications.)
 Project member representing global IT team for global projects worldwide (Supply Chain,
Procurement to pay, Effort Reporting, Coding, Oracle HRIS .)
 Spokesperson in different events (Nethope 2016 USA, Africa Regional Meeting 2016
, Jordan Regional IT meeting, London Meeting 2017, Middle East Regional Leadership event
2017, ICT4D India 2017, Thailand Global IT event 2017, Nethope Dublin 2018 ).

HQ for 15 WAN connected different locations on all Jordanian Borders.

Responsible for 2 Head of departments and 5 teams :

 Technical Team, Servers Installations and monitoring.(Winx, Linux, SQL Server, Oracle Server, Exchange server, GFI, Cisco Call Manager, VOIP, CCTV, Blades), backup plans.
 Applications Team, ERP (Microsoft Dynamics GP&RMS), HR& Payroll, Document Management system, SharePoint, Website and Warehouse management System.
 Help Desk Team, working on Help Desk system as a first line support for the entire company.
 BI Team, responsible for daily IT operations in the systems (Pricing, Coding, Costing) and daily and monthly reports issuing (Cost of goods sold, Inventory cost, etc..)
 Security Systems team, responsible for CCTV systems (350+ CAM ) and Vehicle Tracking System.
 Responsible for managing day to day IT operations.
 Managing Remote locations connected through different WAN technologies (MPLS, Microwave)
 Design and deploy the Data Center.
 Design and deploy disaster recovery site.
 Building up from zero level the infrastructure for more than 450 users (network components, servers, applications).
 Setting budgets and strategic planning.
 Member in the following comities in the company (Purchasing, Employee Affairs, Pricing and strategic planning.)
 Headed all Committees for Drafting & Issuing all RFPs regarding IT requirements, putting the specifications, terms & conditions for all Hardware and Software components, and participated in the evaluation and awarding for different vendors.
 Managing SLA agreements with different vendors.





Responsible for the installation, training and running the new ERP Microsoft Dynamics GP (Financial, POS, HR& Payroll, Supply Chain Management) and RMS for the whole corporate.
WMS with RFID for the main Warehouse .DMS, Virtualization and many other projects.

Currently Assigned as a committee member responsible for setting the new shop in Al Bolívard the new heart of Amman, the shop is 2000 Square meters and the project budget is 2 M $ .

Project Manager for First Shops Company, the investment arm of Jordan Duty Free shops, We are currently setting up the largest Mall in Aqaba city with 30 M $ budget .

Responsible for monitoring the overall performance of the group, setting future growth plans, marketing & sales campaigns, responsible for IT department, and Reviewing sales, financial, IT, statistical and managerial reports.

Managing all IT operations and ERP setup, leading a team of 7 IT officers, for the whole group
Design and implementation for the Network infrastructure including LAN & WAN based on Cisco technologies (Switching, Routing, Security & VoIP)
- Implemented VPN network between all remote sites
- Running and maintaining the Inventory Management System based on SQL Server.
- Running and Maintaining Human resource, Time attendance and Payroll system based on SQL Server.
- Running and maintaining Ticketing and Reservation based on SQL server.
- Working on the servers farm in an IBM environment.
- Running and Maintaining Cost control System (SQL, Oracle)
- Facilitating Point of Sale front office and back office for all sales transactions on daily bases (Micros, NCR, PAR, Omega) based on Oracle
- Managing the Security IP Cameras setup that comprises of 25 cameras distributed in different sites.
- Fully aware with all technologies related to Physical security systems ( Thump Recognitions, Access doors…etc)
- Managing a full fledge setup of Microsoft Exchange 2003 Server & Active Directory
- Supervised Implementation for Hotel Management System (Opera) for the resedntial campus at Amman Waves.
- Headed all Committees for Drafting & Issuing all RFPs for the above mentioned systems, putting the specifications, terms & conditions for all

Software programmer, system analyst, Sales & marketing for the software.
Involved in planning, programming, presenting and installing more than 10 projects in & outside Jordan.

Responsible of customer retention in various accounts, developing them from a TSS perspective and leading them into new projects.

Proactively creating new opportunities in the market and penetrating new accounts where other competitors exists or where different vendors exists and promoting company's new solutions to generate new business opportunities.

Utilizing Company's online solutions for costumers and manage accounts to maximize profitability and competency

Performing market analysis, marketing, presentations & targeting potential customers for various TSS solutions (Presales & Post sales support)

Design and implementation of Point of Sale system built on Oracle 9i & 10G, Forms & Reports. Targeted for Retails & Restaurants.

Design and implementation of Call Center system built on Oracle 9i & 10G, Forms & Reports.

Integration of the above modules with Microsoft Visual Basic & Microsoft SQL server.

Development of Caller Recognition System using VB and Oracle to be integrated with the Call center System. & PBX
