As a Logistics controller worked under the direct supervision of the Country Logistics Manager and has functional links with the Country office’s FLATs and coordination, program and operations departments.
Responsible for the for evaluation of logistics internal control systems. In addition, the logistics controller is also responsible for Country review and gaps identifications in procurement, distribution, warehousing, communication, safety and security management.

Managed and undertaken the functions of Procurement and supporting OM in foreseeing operations, IT & Administration. Actively participated in Procurement manual draft preparation. -Capital Works (Infrastructure/Civil Works Procurement as per PPRA & FIDIC rules)
-Civil works allied services (Design consultant, Topographical surveys & Third party inspection services)
-Staff Life & Health, and vehicles Insurances
-Recruitment & Consulting Services (External Auditor, Actuarial Services, MIS Project, ERP, Web development & Video graphic services)

Evaluated and measure supplier performance to ensure performance meets expectations, including lead time and contract commitments.

Procurement and Contract Management
 Managed Logistical activities of eight projects through 11 Logisticians. Lead 31 different procurement contracts of worth approx. $ 3.817 Million and efficiently managed its deliveries from suppliers and distribution to beneficiaries, together with Program team.
 Account for overall compliance with ACTED procurement procedures (Scenarios A, B, C, D and E). Follow-up the procurement, Validate the Purchase / Service Contracts for Scenario C procurement, along with Coordination.
 Supervised and coordinate the entire procurement and supply chain, from reception of Order Form to final delivery. Communicating about Orders’ status, calling them for quality checks at warehouses and ensuring that deliveries from suppliers are as per sample/contract specification.
Stock Management
 Ensured safety of stock and account for all program and non-program inventories through Logistics team and ensured compliance with ACTED procedures.
 Kept regular updates of available stock, close follow up with supplier for their deliveries status and with Program for available stock for distribution.
Assets/Property& IT Management
 Account for the overall compliance with assets, properties and premises management procedures, ensured its safety and effective use. Assessing the need for additional equipment / premise and coordinate with Country Logistics Manager/ Area Coordination for approval.
 Regularly control the Asset Documentation and Asset List from IT Officer. Ensuring that proper tagging is down and on monthly bases physical verification is done (AST-05 & 06).
 Supervising and securing effective use of the entire telecommunication and IT system, account for overall compliance and line managed IT staff.
Fleet Management
 Account for the overall compliance with transportation management procedures. Maintaining efficient allocation system, assessing need for additional vehicles & rental trucks. Preventing any misuse of vehicles in regard of policies and controlling & securing Service Contracts with Suppliers of rented vehicles and trucks in timely manner. Ensuring that proper utilization of fuel is made, proper procedures & documentations are implemented.
Safety & Security
 Ensure that the safety and security standards of ACTED staff (international and local) are appropriate and correspond to ACTED sphere of influence and context of operations.
HRM
 Managing team One LO, five LAs& five STKRs, prioritize their works, enhance their capacity and appraise them.

 Budget Forecasting
Being the part of program management team run various Projects, analysed their budget & forecasting for the proper utilization of the fund into various Medical & Relief Deliverables.
 Procurement
Led aprox. 10 contracts negotiations, collectively reducing overall cost. Did procurement of the field level & ensured the proper documentation as per Donor regulation.. Prepared procurement plans for goods to be purchased locally or through the Islamabad procurement department and anticipate lead times needed for transport and distribution. Has the honour to introduce procurement plan template, which is in use now.
 Supply Chain Management
Implemented & ensured Merlin protocols to ensure on time and cost effective supply chain
management delivering through routing mechanism, Standard Warehouse practices, record keeping & stock movement. Responsible for the organisation’s assets & inventory at every health facility. Ensuring that its tracking, movement from one place to another, maintenance & record is being kept as per policy
 Fleet Management
Overseen the fleet management at field level including the pick & drop of the staff to the concerned health facilities on time & safely. Suggested to Country Office for combined fleet contract which is done through tender & processed for 142 vehicle for whole country locations and saved almost 0.3 million US $ annually. Ensured proper utilization of fuel consumption of the vehicles & generators at every health facility.
 Rehabilitation
Assessed the need of the rehabilitation/ refurbishment work in the health facilities. Drafted the scope of work BOQ, works bidding & supervision of the work (worth $ 0.87 Million) conducted by the qualified Contractors.
 Security & communications
Ensured safety & security of the staff, organization’s assets & acceptance in the community. Collecting, analyzing and submitting security information to the head office. Be actively involved in security guidelines & timely updating Actors Maps & Matrixes.
