Seconded on behalf of I‐Tech holding to Killa design to assist staff on BIM related expertise:
A multi-story mixed-use development that will accommodate 180 room
key Five-Star hotel, 496 Serviced Apartments, as well as 479 Residential
Apartments with an effective built-up area of approximately 242, 000m²
with more than 100 meters long beach frontage, This project is 75 floors
and 3POD+G+3B story tower development with total height of 290.4 m
and will be the only Address Hotel on beach in Dubai.
My Completed Tasks whilst working on this project included:
• Built a BIM Model based on criteria that are important to the translation
of the building's design, which will be useful for the design review during
the creation of each discipline model in all of the design stages.
• Set up a BIM model which coordinated between all the disciplines from
Architectural, Interior, Structural and MEP to complete a full coordinated
BIM Model.
• Set up the Revit file for the different stages of design including conceptual,
Schematic design and detail design.

• Set up the partial plans to be fit with required scale and size
• Set up the schedule (Unite area, GFA, Doors, Parking)

Project: Hamad Medical City hospitals (HMC)

Virtually constructed the BIM model for the Hamad Medical City hospital
based on the provided drawings, This task considered being able to
understand different types of drawings including the as built drawings, shop
drawings, equipment layout, and IFC drawings.
• The task included detecting clashes from all drawings and taking a priority
order for the most recent drawing to less recent one; as built drawings, shop
drawings, equipment layout, and IFC drawings and creating clash detections.
• Reviewing the state of all drawings, evaluate the quantity and quality of
carried information
• Set up a BIM model coordinating between all the disciplines from
Architectural, Structural and MEP to complete a full coordinated BIM Model.
• Created a full structural model
• Searched for the fundamental discrepancies that will cause possible delays
and rework later during the project rise a clarification of these discrepancies
• Coordinate with the MEP and Architectural team.
• Created Families
• Created the Façade model
• Set up the schedules and sheets
• An overall QA/QC report to the client

Marina Rise Towers Designed by Khateb & Alami consultant consisted of
two high-rise towers housing two basements, three story parking, retail
stores, a ground floor each, two podiums, 25 typical residential floors
(tower one) and 30 typical residential floors (tower two). With a total
construction cost of US$ 65 million, each tower entertained a total built-up
area of 37, 500 m2
My Completed Tasks whilst working on this project included:
• Virtually constructed the BIM model for Marina Tower based on the
provided drawings in PDF format.
• review the state of all drawings, evaluate the quantity and quality of carried
information
• Set up a BIM model coordinating between all the disciplines from
Architectural, Structural and MEP to complete a full coordinated BIM
Model.
• Created the full structural model
• Searched for the fundamental discrepancies that will cause possible delays
and rework later during the project rise a clarification of these
discrepancies
• Coordinate with the MEP and Architectural team.

• An overall QA/AC report to the client
• Export the coordinated model to NWC format
