Implementing MS Dynamics D365 Finance & Operations in six companies within the group.
- Worked with partner to initially implement MS D365 F&O in 2 major companies of the group.
- Implemented Retail Point of Sales internally without partner’s support
- Integrated external payroll with the Dynamics 365 F&O
- Integrated MS D365 with 3rd Party middleware for ZATCA integration, all the customization inside D365 to accommodate the middleware was done by internal team.

- Always keep a task of customization, configuration and training users to remain hands-on.
As an Application Manager responsible for maintenance and implementation of all Applications, for four companies in the group.
MUVI Cinemas: D365 F&O, VISTA (movie management application), Website & App.
Performed integration b/w VISTA & D365 also b/w Time & Attendance system & D365.
Nail Shop: Implemented D365 F&O for Retail.
Horizon Contracting: Maintaining D365 F&O (Finance & Procurement), planning to implement (Project Management Module).
Evox Gym: Maintaining D365 F&O, planning integration b/w GYM app and D365.
There are nine companies in the group that have different versions of Dynamics AX installed. From the platform of SSBS I am providing support to them all, also upgraded AX 2012 R3 to D365 F&O(Cloud based) in one of the companies.
Solely developed many new custom reports & forms and also extended existing forms.
- Recently, developed “Advance payment approval module” in AX 2012 R3 that has reduced the approval task from 2 days to few hours and removed all the paperwork.
- Developed a new feature to send balance confirmation letter from system to Customers/Vendors, along with approvals. Reduced the workload drastically from many days to few hours.
- Also, customized several existing forms to incorporate user requirements.
- Developed several new reports in SSRS for AX & direct SSRS.
- During upgrade to D365 performed to code upgrade to all of the above tasks & also developed new reports in the new cloud based version.
Working as Application Manager & Techno functional lead for the MS Dynamics AX 2012 R3, currently managing the application without the support from external company i.e., 100% relying on the internal team, main tasks includes the following:
• Responsible for the smooth running of application
• Implemented VAT without external support.
• Managing the team of technical consultants
• Suggested the use of native SSRS reports to the IT Director for some very complex and time consuming reports
• Developed many AX SSRS reports for the users
• Suggested & developed a new mechanism for stock counting using Hand held devices integrated with AX, which has led to the accurate and fast stock counting.
• Planning & managing implementation of new modules.
• Have made the backup policy
• Suggested the management use of external HR & Payroll system, instead of relying on AX based HR & Payroll modules.
• Suggested & implemented the customizations in the existing forms in order to enforce & restrict users from making data that is irrelevant to them.

After successfully implementing the ERP the company promoted to the position of IT Manager, therefore, now responsible for defining and implementing the IT strategy for the organization, mainly responsible for the following:
* Applications (MS Dynamics AX)
* Networks
* Servers (physical & virtual)
* Team management
* Defining the IT Strategy aligned with the organizational goals
* Industry standards implementation for ITSM
* managing an efficient IT support program
* Cost management
* IT Budgeting for the organization
* IT contracts/SLA management
* IT suppliers' management
* Evaluating, suggesting & selecting new technologies
Responsible for the administration, support and customizations of MS Dynamics AX. Established the change control board for the approval of any change request coming from any department. The organization realized the need of an in-house ERP expert when the current partner left the implementation in the middle, corrected the Financials & Trade & Logistics module’s configurations and provided standard operating procedures for the purchasing and finance department. Also planned & implemented Retail module with the help from outside partner.
Also, performing as Techno-Functional consultant, have developed and modified several no. of reports & forms using x++ and also written and implemented integrations with HHT that has reduced the stock taking time in warehouses and stores eventually saving huge amount to the organization.
Currently, working as Head of Business Solutions Division, the division is incorporated in order to practice MS Dynamics AX consulting, however, at this moment the department has acquired two GP clients and two Microsoft Dynamics AX clients. Currently, managing AX & GP projects and performing the role of project manager and implementing MS Dynamics AX. Also, involved in extensive pre-sales activities for both AX & GP, in which I demonstrate the companies how a business application will help them in order to run their businesses efficiently by getting timely & accurate information.
The current MS Dynamics GP Project is the unique and first of its kind in Pakistan where I with the help of my team implementing the Field Services modules for the first time in Pakistan at Allied Engineering & Services Limited, which is the sole distributor of Caterpillar products in Pakistan & Afghanistan.
Joined as the head of Integration Division, my responsibility was to look at the pre-sales and implementation of MS Dynamics GP, team management and see if the department is performing within the budget. The leads were generated by the sales department which then passed on to my division, after technically qualifying the lead I perform the pre-sales activity that involves demo of the product and writing proposals. Afterwards, in pre-sales I act as the project manager to ensure the timely delivery of the targets. Managed 5 projects simultaneously.
Worked as Sr. Functional Consultant, participated in the implementation of MS Dynamics GP, however, returned back to my home country as the company closed down its business in January 2008.
After finishing my MBA in Finance from Pakistan's no.1 business school, I made the decision to move into ERP consulting field, therefore, switched my job and started my career as an ERP Consultant. Here my job was to implement MS Dynamics GP at clients ranging from manufacturing concerns to service organizations. Independently implemented my first project and then moved on as a team lead on the next project.
Started my career from this firm as a Programmer in Foxpro and developed quite a few financial applications for around 2 & 1/2 year, then moved towards Oracle's development environment called "Developer 2000", again developed quite a few applications for around 2 & 1/2 year. Eventually moved towards System Analysis and Design, where I used to take requirements from clients develop the Software Requirement Specification Document, during the same period also done a lots of "Entity Relationship Diagram" development using the tool called "ERWIN". Performed independently and also performed as team lead on many projects.
Interacted with many different clients ranging from govt. organizations to multinational companies, therefore acquired people's skills also.
