Planning, managing and overseeing the functions of the entire finance, corporate development, accounting and treasury including: risk management, legal, governance and internal control processes.
Key Achievements:
•Strengthened the balance sheets by spinning off non-core businesses to private equity firm for £20m and also launched e-commerce business, which increased the sale by 40%.
Projects & responsibilities:
•Coordinating, generating and presenting the periodic financial statements and management reports including planning, forecasting & budgeting and variance analysis to CEO and the board of directors.
•Monitoring the operations of capital expenditure and managing the cash flow of the group, simultaneously dealing with the bankers for various financing facilities including LCs, guarantees, clean import loans etc.
•Responsible for representing the organisation in meetings with various external stakeholders including banks, financial institutions, joint venture partners, private equity firm, manufacturers and other principle suppliers.

Projects & responsibilities:
•Driving corporate M&A in line with Deloitte's growth strategy from investigating growth opportunities, reviewing potential targets to facilitate the acquisition and integration process, i.e. advising Deloitte's network firms when it comes to integrating a new company into one of Deloitte business units.
•Leading, planning and managing M&A and investment advisory transactions including price determination of initial public offering, leverage buyouts, restructuring & turnarounds and divestiture transactions, which includes managing cross functional teams, agreeing deadlines with clients and team, coordinating the key client meetings and managing the field work & documentations such as information memorandum, drafting of MoU/term sheets, review of legal documentation (SPA/SHA).
•Participated in a number of other independent reviews including SOX & technical accounting review, risk modeling, model Validations, risk treasury, market risk calculations under both modeled and standardised approach, Credit Risk Model including CCR (CVA, PD and LGD calculations) and other regulatory driven reviews including the implementation of Basel, AML and corporate governance to ensure that they comply with the regulator requirements.
Managing the process of producing, consolidating, reviewing and presenting the management accounts, business plans and performance of business units to senior management and responsible for monthly accountability reporting and other ad hoc financial reports.
Key Achievements:
•Successfully initiated and implemented the VBA automation program across the finance department and streamlined the reporting process, which significantly improve the reporting timing by 30%.
•Accurately forecasted the monthly cash flow models to identify the months in which extra cash will be required to meet the liquidity requirements.

•Led in developing and preparing the monthly management accounts including annual budget, forecasting and variance analysis and reporting the business performance to the senior management on a regular basis with a detailed commentary.
• Built sophisticated financial models to support decision making for senior management including financial condition reports which includes cash forecasts for business planning and capital optimisation.
