Roles:
•Coordination with Regional Managers/Technical Managers to handle the applications and technical part of the project.
•Managing Installation, commissioning, integration to the BSC and troubleshooting of Nokia FLEXI EDGE BTS, Nokia ULTRASITE BTS and Siemens BS240XL BTS.
•Traffic allocation at ABIS interface and EDGE implementation.
•GSM Network expansion at Old Nokia FLEXI EDGE BTS, Siemens BS240XL BTS and Nokia ULTRASITE BTS.
•Troubleshooting and patching of Environmental alarms (A.C commercial power failure, Rectifier failure, Air conditioner failure, Generator running, Smoke Detector, OB (obstruction light) Light, High Temperature, Low Fuel.
•Installation, configuration and alignment of Microwave (NEC) PDH Link (4E1, 8E1, 16E1) using Nokia BTS Hub Manager and Siemens Radio Management (SRAL XD)
•Rectifier Cabinet Installation along with battery bank installation and Alarm cable patching and generating alarms.
•Feeder cable testing (VSWR, DTF) using Site Master (Anritsu, Bird).
•Loop testing of TXN route by E1 Analyzer (Bert Meter) from BSC to target site.
•Quality Control inspection visits on sites as per company standard for Pre_PAT (Provisional Acceptance Test) and FAT (Final Acceptance Test).
•Team management and supervision of technical work done by technicians and riggers.
•Analysis and Troubleshooting of technical issues/faults.
RF Field Engineer
•Nominal Site Survey using GPS and Map Info.
•TSSR (Technical Site Survey Report) for site acquisition.
Worked for USF_Telenor Project in CHOLISTAN (Yazman_Bahawalpur). Total responsibility for E-to-E solution of BSS & Transmission by coordination with Telenor’s higher management and MES’s higher management, team management and vehicle/transportation management. And having a very tuff time to handover number of USF_Telenor Sites (Nokia FLEXI BTS) within a specific time period as well as maintaining an excellent work quality in a very hot season and tuff environment.
