Strategy & Innovation Manager at Munich Re, responsible for supporting the different business units and subsidiaries in defining their annual strategy and implementing it.

Reporting to the Head of Munich Re Middle East and Africa and supporting him in all strategically and operationally
relevant matters.
Functions include:
- Conducting market research through multiple methodologies to support market planning/ market strategy formulation; new market entry; product development activities; new reinsurance service offering
- Monitoring market developments and ensuring internal alignment through consistent communication of data, insights, and analysis.
- Marketing and communications functions include planning yearly marketing activities, preparing branding material, clients newsletters...
Preparation of market supports covering multiple industries in the UAE (banking, FMCG, retail…) through a
combination of expert interviews and discussions, market surveys, desk research…
- Preparation of market size estimates and forecasts per industry.
Full client servicing
- Project management; research instruments design/ Fieldwork briefing and monitoring
- Analysis, report writing and presentations
- Key projects:
o Telecommunications - Handled regular audit of mobile handsets in Lebanon, managed multi-
country project for mobile operator in Africa, was based in Qatar to service Vodafone starting from
- Coordination with advertising and production companies for various projects
- Regular follow-up of L’Oréal’s presence in the media Vs competitors
- Enhancement of L’Oréal’s relationship and exchange with universities
- Completion of a study on cosmetics ads in Lebanon
