- Reports to O&M Manager. Responsible for on job training organization and delivery of training for assigned SOC’s and Company’s Personnel Ensures following of relevant Fire & Safety Regulations, good House Keeping Practices.
- Also responsible for basic administration support of the execution of the Contract from Contractor’s side
- On day to day organize and deliver on job training for assigned personnel of South Oil Company and /or Company’s local staff.

- Carrying out gap analysis in order to identify the knowledge & skills that remain to be acquired.
- Training delivered for Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation disciplines related to Operation and Maintenance of the Power Plant.
- Promotes HSE culture
Develops risk assessments, leads safety and toolbox meetings
- Produces records and prepares reports on manpower training requirements.
- Track and report on training outcomes.
- Reviews engineering drawings, catalogs & equipment specs. With concerned departments in order to organize the required training courses.
- Provide basic administration support for the Contract, collect/ maintain time-sheets, registers, forecasts etc.,
- Attend Daily activities reviewing meeting.

Prepare specific courses to WEIR Engineers.
Attend daily technical meeting
Responsibilities:-
- Delivering both theoretical and practical (OJT) training courses for Electrical, Power plant
Operations and its individual units using internationally recognized curriculum accredited by various
Institutions in the UK (e.g. City & Guilds, Aberdeen University, Derby College).
- Class room, Labs (Cross sections & Simulation), Workshops and on site (On the Job Training
which is mainly at Azzawiyah oil refinery.
- Process and Power plant simulation Lab which is provided by (RSI Simcon, Inc).
- Prepare specific intensive training course in Electrical and Power Plant Generation
- Assess trainees by examination and other assessment methodologies.
- Verification and participation in assessments activities
- Emphasis Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures during the training program.
- Develop course curriculum and Prepare specific intensive training courses in Electrical and Power
Plants (Operations).
Moreover, I taught other modules like Practical and (On the job training)
Practical (On the job training)
Gas turbines, Desalination units, Boilers, Air compressor and all other equipment used in industry.
Theoretical modules
Compressors and compression technology, Steam generation and distribution, HSE, Instrumentation, Process control, Pumps& Valves, Heat ex changers
Other Responsibilities
- Verification and participation in assessment and acceptance instructors or trainers to join our staff at
Specific Training Center.
- Participation in development and verifying current Training facilities and planning for future
Extensions in Training facilities to increase skills & competencies of out graduates to international
Standards levels.
- Preparation of tender packages and purchase orders of the potential new labs and workshops
From 1-4-1996 until 28-2-2006 I was appointed in (Azzawyia Oil Refinery), department of (Industrial Facilities / Power Plants).
I worked for:-
• Two years as a Boiler operator.
• Two years as an air compressors operator.
• Two years as a gas turbine operator.
• Two years as a Desalination unit’s operator.
• Two years as a seawater intake plant operator.
Responsibilities:-
• Start up and shut down of the power plant units.
• Ensure smooth operation of the power plant
units.
• Observation and fault diagnosis.
• Ensure that subordinates follow the standard
operating procedures and safety practices for all
utilities ( Power plant ) machinery and
equipment as per the Quality Manual.
• Organize and prepare all the mentioned units for
maintenance purposes.
• Furthermore, to accomplish electrical, mechanical
and operation checks on all the power plan
individual units such as gas turbines, steam
turbine, Boilers, generators, air compressors,
desalination units and steam distribution.
• Instruct and train the newly employed technician
and engineers
• Experience in water treatment.
