OPERATIONS MANAGER (2006 to Present)
Provided senior-level leadership with full accountability for training, oversight, and overall support for engineers, supervisors, operators, and remote personnel.
• Oversee supply operations and service for specialty production chemicals (corrosion inhibitors, demulsifiers, scale inhibitors, scale dissolvers, foamers & deformers, H2S scavengers, surfactants, gas hydrates inhibitors (KHI), biocides, well stimulation chemicals, cleaning chemicals, oxygen scavenger, wax, asphaltene solvents, inhibitor chemicals).
• Spearhead day-to-day operations of Qatar (Ras Laffan) and Iraq (Basra) warehouses. Manage all aspects of freight, returns, receiving, parcels, and transfers. Lead and develop warehouse team, leading group initiatives and ensuring superior levels of customer service.
• Collaborate with financial controller to organize financial reporting and forecasting (monthly sales, projected sales, revenues, ROFO, EBITS). Prepare P&L statement and review IBT.
• Prepare tender documents (technical/commercials), review frame work agreements, and facilitate other small enquiry quotes for customers throughout the ME.
• Organize and evaluate commercial offers through product cost review and supplier negotiations, following through with margin setup (centralized on market intelligence).
• Perform contract review and thoroughly analyze all terms and conditions with business legal team, addressing any and all exceptions to the T&C.

• Optimize dehydration of crude oil and produced water treatment through chemical application. Conduct chemical field trails for demulsifiers and water clarifiers. Minimize corrosion and scaling potentials by driving optimal chemical injection rates within the limitation of the process equipment. Manage biocide evaluation/treatment control and monitoring programs.
• Tote Tanks Management: Monitor over 65x2000L tote tanks and 18x3800L tote tanks (Schutz tanks, ISO tank containers). Facilitate DNV certification and ensure compliance with international standards slings/load tests, according to client EN 12079 specifications. Clean tanks, retain shipment samples, and manage fleet of 30 x 20’ ISO containers for U.S. chemical shipments.
• Supply Chain Management: Evaluate stock levels on a weekly basis and place orders to maintain sufficient inventory to effectively meet consumption demands.

• DRA: Managed five-year Drag Reducer Agent contract ($100MN operation). Ensured products are delivered in optimal homogenous state through constant air circulation of ISO containers and Schultz tanks, utilizing air supply and heavy duty pump skids.
• Injection Skids: Manage maintenance for over 80 injection pump skids for onshore/offshore operation
• Inventory Control: Facilitated weekly meetings with management and staff to review in-house inventory/impending orders.
• QHSE: Establish and develop standard operating procedures for individualized specific duties. • Collaborated closely with drilling solution/completion fluids group and environmental solution group in numerous assigned projects as designated team leader.
Sodium Bromide Reclamation Project:
• Restored over 50, 000 sacks of damaged Sodium Bromide bags. successfully resulting in an added reclamation savings of over $3MN.
Waste Management Project:
• Controlled drilling solution/completion fluids waste and production chemicals waste. .
• . Implemented action plans in 2012, effectively disposing 95% of generated waste by 2013. Deployed prevention measures to reduce future waste generation.
• Coordinated installation of new fire alarm system and firefighting/foam sprinkler system designed for storage of flammable/toxic/corrosive chemicals for a 2600 M2 chemicals storage warehouse.
