• To Maintain & control Pull, Thickness, Profile & ribbon width by controls in Hot End, ribbon width & thickness change according to Cold End requirement & following up given PPM schedule .
• Operational Knowledge on float equipment/fans & Cooling water systems, N2 & H2 system, Glass forming & characteristics.
• Operational knowledge on DCS, bath refractories, tin level, spout lip &tweel.
• Responsible for Tracking of glass production on hourly basis. As per details of defects received from Glass Lab, do root cause analysis and try to improve & Change parameters after discussion with functional head.
• Poka yoke on possible contamination, cross contamination and its importance & Knowledge of identifying defects due to raw materials.
• Knowledge on ISO 9000, 14000 & OHSAS 18000 system Knowledge in TPM, 5S & Kaizen.
• Got two Great Idea Award Certificates for Best Suggestion in - M/s Saint Gobain Glass India Private Ltd. (Chennai) • Handled plant/shift emergency jobs in - M/s Saint Gobain Glass India Private Ltd. • Experienced in the Glass industry atmosphere and familiar with the work permit system aware of safety procedures & emergency response system. • Controlling process parameters using PLC & DCS • Team Player and easily getting attached with team in achieving its goal. • Involved in coating of Reflector-sol (Sun Ban Glass). • Member in 5S zone improvement team. • Responsible for Mechanical Department related WCM (World Class Manufacturing) projects. • In-plant development works. • Knowledge on LOCK OUT – TAGOUT & ensuring 100% compliance on the same.
