• Negotiation with vendors for better pricing, terms, and conditions while maintaining contractual requirements.
• Support with periodic market research and stay abreast on new products, equipment, and services emerging in the market.
• Assisted in vendor management i.e., new Vendor development/supplier identification, selection, and negotiations. floating inquiries to existing as well potential suppliers, receiving the price quotations (competitive quotes), prepared comparative statements to conclude the best offer.
• Follow up for timely delivery of material and equipment.
• Negotiated with Vendors in terms of Price, Delivery Schedule & Payment terms and prepared Local Purchase Orders, Service Purchase Orders, and Subcontract Purchase Orders.
• Monitored supplier performance and compliance as well as maintained good relations with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Developed and implemented procurement policies, procedures, and strategies to ensure cost optimization, high quality, and minimal risks.
• Prepare tender and contract documents, including Bill of Quantities with the Architect tender Drawings.
• Assist in establishing a client’s Requirements and undertake feasibility studies
• Prepare procurement Strategy
• Identify, analyse, and develop responses to commercial risks.
• Comparative studies of subcontractor’s selection, and Allocate work to subcontractors.
• Value compacted work and arrange payment certificates.
• Prepare material take-off list, current prices & source of procurement.
