•Provide support in developing and executing strategy of the NICDP and the enabling department.

•Initiate, propose structure and pursue the establishment of new enabling initiative.

•Conduct research, data collection, comparative analysis, cost to benefit modeling of industrial and technology issues to familiarize and prove attractiveness of KSA working with NICDP team.

•Develop purpose-built delivery Plans of NICDP assignments.

•Provide advice and explanations to NICDP clients on industrial, customs and commercial Saudi laws and regulations.

•Formally link NICDP with other Industrial related organization locally or internationally.

•Provide data, advice and recommendations on industrial related issues like ports, and logistics.

•Establish formal catalytic and supportive links of NICDP with manufacturers at leadership and management levels.

•Catalyze fertile direct and long-term professional partnership between NICDP and individual targeted manufacturers.

•Develop, implement and support the projects and engineering work processes in alignment with Chevron base business processes and Chevron operational excellence processes

•Apply and implement processes on projects from initiating phase till closing phase

•Ensure new and modified facilities are evaluated, planned, designed, constructed and commissioned to be in compliance with all relevant codes, standards, industry experience and applicable regulations

•Ensure projects are implemented with proper quality assurance and quality control to prevent injury and unplanned incidents, to enable reliable and efficient operations

•Perform work necessary to fulfill the technical roles of design, analysis, processes, facilities planning, and field engineering support for project team and manages all assigned capital projects.

•Ensure application of safety-In-design review process on design packages, trouble-shoot operational problems

•Ensure that the established Health, Environment & Safety (HES) measures are applied. Set positive example regarding HES effort(s). Monitor work sites and enforce HES requirements. Identify HES training needs and take active part in personnel training

•Incorporate the Operational Excellence Facility Design and Construction requirements into projects and processes.

•Actively supports use of safe work processes and procedures

•Coordinate and deliver training to different processes that support Chevron projects such as:
- Facility Design and Construction
- Process Safety Management (PSM)
- Technical Codes & Standards
- Technical Design Assurance
- Operating Procedure
- Process Safety Information
- Facility Information Management

•Apply and implement Lean Six Sigma tools on projects to optimize operational processes and improve profitability

•Effectively participate in designing and preparing the assigned Engineering Services Requests

•Ensure that electrical designs are valued engineered and with latest standard and codes requirements

•Follow up and implement electrical work at site ensuring compliance with project documents

•Day-to-day supervision of the site, including supervising and monitoring the progress and manpower

•Overseeing quality control, health and safety matters on site; and ensure that construction is performed as per safety plan

•Ensure that the contractor perform the work in a manner

•Ensure that the project as per setting plan, and work progress at site is as per approved time schedule
