Comparing our product with respect to customer requirements and coordinate closely with engineering department to provide a suitable solution for the customer requirement.
Analyzing the drawings for special fittings (spools) for pricing
Conduct research to obtain data on labor costs, materials, production times etc.
Estimate quantity and costs of materials (cost estimate) for each project in company ERP software.
Preparing Costing Summary / Cost breakdown sheet for management review & approval.
Create and submit estimate reports or bids to the department head.
Conduct research to obtain data on labor costs, materials, production times etc. to further optimize the estimation methods.
Estimate production costs and set production budgets
Preparation of Resources Schedules, Time Schedules and tender review reports
Provide project report comparing BOQ and costs- proposed vs actuals.

Review the RFQ, BOQ and specifications received from the Sales department.
Interpret, identify and raise queries for any differences in the provided specification/requirements.
Understand the requirements of the customer based on the application of the piping system.
Participate in clarification meetings to make clear understanding of the scope and clarify the queries, if any.
Calculation of the Raw materials requirements, Overhead & Transport charges particular enquiry.
Discuss with Technical Managers & QC for deviations from EPC normal procedure.
Arriving at a Cost Price for the particular pipe and hence providing the sales team with a Selling Price.
Preparation of Technical submittal for the client approval of our products.
Close Coordination with the Sales, Procurement & Operations Department to be up to date the current market trends and requirements.
Reporting to General Manager (Operations) on a daily & monthly basis for the current production status and the order status of various enquiries.
Review the tender package including scope, drawings, datasheets and specifications.
Interpret, identify and raise queries for any differences in the provided tender documents.
Attend site visits to gather information at site and identify the requirements of the project.
Participate in clarification meetings to make clear understanding of the scope and clarify the queries, if any.
Itemize the materials and works involved in the project.
Send RFQs and coordinate with vendors and subcontractors, respond to their queries to receive quotation for the materials and subcontractor works.
Prepare Project schedule based on Client requirement.
Preparation of manpower estimate for the proposed schedule.
Develop cost summaries for materials, direct and indirect manpower, site facilities, equipments and other related subcontractor works
Identification and recording of the assumptions / exceptions / deviations made for the preparation of estimates.
Making arrangements to prepare Tender Bond, if required.
Distribution of Final cost arrived by the Contracts Manager into the Pricing Schedule provided by the Client, keeping in mind the payment conditions.
Preparation of Technical and Commercial Submission Documents.
