Preparation of Annual Budget Estimate.
Preparation of budget for the newly awarded projects based on the tender guideline.
Study the Contract scope, requirements, direct & indirect cost assessments, cost allocations, analyzing budget vs. actual and produce reports on cost variance and tracking direct, indirect costs relating to the project.
Assist the Cost Control Manager in managing of departmental works, monitor and focus on each Project Status and Site Construction.
Evaluate the costs and send feedback to Project Management Team upon receiving the Cost Report.
Organize monthly Cost Review meeting and monthly Cost Control presentation for divisional meetings propose Cost Control Solution to Management.
Monitoring the status of the Project’s Cost budgets and controlling the budget variances, reporting necessary suggestions to the Project Management Team in a timely manner.
Provide advice on the running project cost status to the management team or the project team in order to rectify the issue.
Interface with the accounting group to ensure that invoicing and local expenses are properly being tracked. Supervision of accounting teams efforts relating to local expenses, and invoicing to the client.
Prepare & Update the PMMR Project Monthly Management Report.
Estimation of EAC (Estimate at Completion) based on Committed Cost & Cost to Complete in line with BAC (Budget at Completion). Obtain performance measurements Earned Value EV-Budgeted Cost Work Performed (BCWP) based on the work progress, , Actual Cost Work Performed (ACWP), Cost Variance (CV), Cost Performance Index (CPI), Schedule Variance (SV), Schedule Performance Index (SPI), “Profit Margin & Profit Markup” based on EAC & BAC and Comparison of Actual Vs Budget, BAC Vs EAC and provide the project status report for Management review.
Prepare Project Status Summary, Contract Value Summary, & Monthly Progress Summary.
Prepare Progress Billing curve based on planned, actual and certified values.
Prepare cost to complete status with respect to material, labour and prelims (staff salaries / others) including the details of committed cost and cost at completion.
Prepare and update the preliminaries forecast including the month-wise forecast based on the staff histogram which shall provide the month wise committed cost & cost to complete related to the management / engineering and project staff salaries.
Prepare Cash Flow Report, Payment Schedule Summary.
Prepare Variations and Claims Schedule which shall include all variations and claims to the contract with required details.
Prepare Project Register (includes Material Submittal Register, Drawing Submittal Register, Purchase Order Register, LC Register, etc.), & Risk Register.
Management of Budget Change or Transfers, Allocation of Budget to Procurement Packages.
Estimation of Manpower budget in line with the planned program of works.
Estimation of Material budget with the help of concerned engineers.
Providing support to PM in tracking and following up project invoices and payments due.
Reviewing contractors Payment Certificates, Invoices & Supporting documents related to PC & Verifying invoices in relation to Contracts, Administers contractor's reimbursement & valuation submissions, & coordinates with the Finance Department.
Maintain the records of retention & warranties and preparation of Payment Certificates.
Maintaining & Publishing the project contract status report on monthly basis to PM.
Liaises with Legal and Finance Departments when required in relation to contractual and commercial requirements.
Identify risks and opportunities in the contract and Liaise with Project Manager, advising PM of changing risk profile at various stages of project.
Providing input & reviewing the commercial aspect of Performance Reports on Contractors.
Participating to negotiations with Main Subcontracts (such as rate negotiation, claim, change orders).

Negotiating and monitoring Contracts and Frame Agreements in the most economically advantageous manner, in accordance with corporate procedures.
Finalizes with successful contractor & the contract documentation.
Assist the Senior Contracts Engineer when requested in the execution of their responsibilities and duties &perform other duties as directed by the Senior Contracts Engineer.
