This company is an IT consultancy company operating in Dubai. Reporting to the CEO I am responsible for organizing and supervising all of the administrative activities that facilitate the smooth running of an office.
Main responsibilities:
- Handle and delegate incoming calls and emails
- Manage and maintain company accounts including providing monthly reports
- Manage filing systems
- Run errands for the CEO
- Maintain the calendar for the CEO
- Set up and attend meetings
- Arrange for courier services
- Gather various information requested by the CEO
- Follow up on tasks in a timely manner
- Making myself available at all times to the CEO, which involves out of office hours
- Establish standards and procedures
- Record office expenditure and managing the budget
- Organize the office layout and maintain supplies of stationery and equipment
- Record information in excel spreadsheet such as for example customer contact information and expenditures
- Oversee the recruitment of new staff
- Manage the staff’s annual leave
- Handle visas and other licenses related to the company
- Arrange for company rental cars
- Manage different contracts such as for example employment and supplier contracts
- Ensure personnel files are up to date and secure
Main achievements:
- Being able to quickly learn the processes of obtaining different visas, licenses etc.
- Constantly find new ways of improving the organization
- Become more familiar with different accounting software systems
- Exceed my personal as well as my managers expectations
- Honed skills of prioritization and being able to deal with urgent matters at a drop of a hat

Reason for leaving: I want to seek new challenges within another line of work.

Reason for leaving: The Dell department was relocated to another country.
