j) August 2004 till present. I started my own Sectional Title Management Company first as Ozone Agencies CC and now as AVS Property Management Pty Ltd. This involved the handling of various bodies' corporate trust funds a sending out invoices on a monthly basis. We also assist in preparing budgets for the various bodies corporate. We are in the process of winding up this part of the business as it is not economically viable. Final date will be 31 August 2013
k) Since 2007 I also worked as a Clean Condition Officer on a part time basis during outages at Matla Power Station which is part of the Eskom Group of Companies. This work entail the training of people that work on open generators to ensure that the said procedures are followed to ensure that all components used inside the generator are removed. Furthermore do daily inspections on the generator and to ensure that no foreign objects were placed in it. Liaise with Eskom management and various contractors at different intervals to ensure that work is done according to the specifications laid down by Eskom and other suppliers. This job requires a 12 hour day 7 days a week during the full time of the outage.

i) Dec 2003-July 2004 Mine Manager at Hoogenoeg Andalusite Mine. I went there under the impression than the company wanted to reopen the mine as the pricing were good at the time. I only later discovered that the purpose of this appointment was not really to get an old mine operational but rather to rehabilitate it as one of the directors had a hidden agenda which was only discovered later.
e) End 1988- 1997 Weedon Minerals which became Rhino Andalusite Minerals after a takeover from Anglovaal. This take over took place after 2 and half years with Weedons. During the Weedon era I perform the duties of mine buyer, store controller and despatch Manager. The duty as despatch manager also meant making sure that the product leaving the mine was as per the required contract specifications. The Anglovaal take over put me on a spot where I had to choose between Mine Buyer and Marketing and I opt for the latter. This still left me with the portfolio of Distribution Manager which entails the whole distribution network from Thabazimbi to Richards Bay, Durban, Gauteng and abroad. I also took care of local customers in Gauteng. Beginning 1995 a decision was made to separate Rhino from the Anglovaal stable as an entity on its own. I was then appointed as Assistant Marketing Manager of the group which now had a head office in Johannesburg, mines in Thabazimbi and Steelpoort as well as a refining plant in Richards Bay. During this time I visited the States, Mexico, Canada and China twice to promote our products. It was only later discovered that Anglovaal had problems and the whole Rhino Group was sold to our biggest opposition and I was retrenched together with other colleges
f) 1998-2000 I tried to sell Insurance, got involved with network marketing which took me tree months to India but not with to much success.
d) Start 1985 - End 1988 Cumar Resistant Materials. Plant Superintendent. Start up a brand new Plant from scratch after some specialised training in the United States. The job entailed a high tech submerged arch furnace operation where molten material was pored onto spinning wheels to form a high temperature blanket used for industrial linings. This operation also entailed a 24hr laboratory facility which did the quality control on a 24 hr basis. Various by-products were also manufactured. This was followed up with another training session in the United States and then later I presented South Africa at an International Conference in Europe. One of my suppliers head hunted me to Thabazimbi.
c) Start 1980 -End 1984 Naschem Lenz. Start as Production Superintendent and later Senior Superintendent. This process although also production was more a flow line type production. It also entailed the supervision of 24 staff per shift. Only 100% quality control were allowed as we protected soldiers on the border during this time

b) Sept 73 - End 1979 Impala Platinum Refineries in Springs.
Start off as a Shift Analyst in the Laboratory. Tasks involved chemical titrations, sample preparations for Atomic Absorption machines, filtrations and screening. Relieve Lab Foremen at various intervals. Got promoted Operator and later Senior Operator and relieve the Inventory controller at regular intervals. This Chemical process entailed leaching and separation of various elements on a 24hr, 365 days a year basis. Learned a lot about the metallurgical processes involved to leach out certain elements.
