• If any discrepancies in terms of cost overrun in materials during the procurement stage completely penetrate in to the subject and sort out the issues / ambiguities etc., perhaps few items would be a positive variation to the contract and the same to be brought in to management / post contracts department at the moment as required to claim variation immediately.

• Reviewing Material Submittals, drawing submittals, chairing weekly progress meetings, preparation of Weekly and monthly reports, preparing RFI’s, Evaluation of EI / VO’s.

• Make sure the available man power is meeting the project requirement and make mitigation program in case of any delay noticed.
• Confirm the material delivery schedule is meeting the project requirement.
• Notification of variation, claims and counter claims.
• Notifications of delay to Engineer in case of any new requirements and delayed in approvals.
• Ensure the installation of MEP is meeting the standard quality and implement corrective action for the continuous improvement.
• Liaise with the QA & QC of Consultant to resolve in case of any Quality control issues.
• Closing out of NCR related to MEP.
• Preparation and implementation of contract specific quality plans, procedures, and conduct work inspection prior to the consultant, method statement and inspection & Test Plans.
• Monitoring subcontractors ‘s work progress in light of quality control policy.
• Initiate actions to prevent recurrence of non-conformity.
