Managed and Supervised the works through a team of inspection personnel consisting of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural and HSE engineers. Signed off daily inspection and material verification requests on behalf of ADNOC/PMC. Conducted weekly meetings on Progress, Safety and Quality. Initiated suitable letters to Contractor on all the above fronts. Reviewed submittals of materials, Shop dwgs, Method Statements, Quality Control procedures, ITPs on various kinds of works, pre-qualification for sub-Contractors and Suppliers. Reviewed monthly invoice of Contractor, initiated Change Requests, evaluated requests for EOT from Contractor and Prepared the final punch list during issuance of PAC.
Reported to Projects Director - GHD. Attended weekly project meetings and conducted review of project documents & quality plans as submitted by Contractor. Monitored progress of works in line with the approved planned schedule, Reviewed Material samples, Shop drawings, Method Statements, and ITPs as submitted by contractor. Supervised site works in compliance with Project Specification & HSE guidelines. Coordinated with Third party consultant, and multidisciplinary engineers. Prepared weekly and monthly progress review & reports for client’s team. Assisted in the issuance of NCR & HSE Violation Reports after verification of nonconformance.

Inspected all structural, civil and finishing works and I was instrumental in setting the school project on a top quality track. This includes External granite cladding, Curtain walls, Gypsum dry wall partitions, Aluminium glazed doors & windows, Wood doors (fire-rated), Marble flooring, Movable partitions, False ceiling, Sky lighting, Carpets etc. Reported deficiencies to Project Manager (NORR). Attended progress review meetings. Coordinated MEP trades activities in line with civil works. Reviewed structural shop drawings and method statements. Conducted factory visits to Pre- cast panels casting yard on a periodic basis and reported progress and deficiencies to PM (NORR).

Took off quantities related to extra items and variations. Verified progress measurements for monthly payments. Attended progress review meetings with Client (PEIE).

Prepared technical proposals necessary to expedite the award of supply and works contract in special circumstances for vetting by Director Projects (NBCC). Fixed milestones for performance by turnkey-contractors. Prepared monthly bills to client and in-house progress reports. Submitted variation and extra claims based on provisions in the contract for approval by client. Prepared final response to queries from Technical and Governmental / statutory audit teams. Prepared reconciliation statement for the materials issued from client’s stores.
Supervised the civil Works in support of Senior Project Engineer and monitored progress assisting Planning Engineer.
