PROFESSIONAL SYNOPSIS

•A result-oriented packaging professional with 10 years of experience in Packaging Development and innovation of FMCG products Packaging (Bakery products, Diary Products, Atta, Oil, Shampoo, Hot filled products Toothpaste, noodles, Beverages), liquor encompassing designing, material development & industrial trials.
•Successfully initiated and completed several cost efficiency Projects which eventually led to significant savings for the organization.
•Successful development of re-closable and reusable tray overwrap pack for bar cake with close liaison with key stakeholders and after various iterations and line trials, which later won India Star packaging Award.
•Was able to resolve issue of low strength in tray overwrap pack format of Bourbon biscuit by tweaking the current tray design without any extra cost.
•Successfully executed various cost reduction projects in primary/secondary packaging, which eventually led to reduction in the packaging material cost and increase in the gross margin of the product.
•Developed packaging material for various FMCG products - biscuits, cake, bread toast, shampoo, oil, detergents, Wheat Flour, diary products etc
•Cracked the issue of scuffing of Cigar packaged export shoulder boxes while transit by establishing a new if its type offline coating process which could withstand toughest transit conditions.
•Developed a new shoulder box packaging for the niche product of ITC tobacco division- “Insignia” in which various printing processes like offset, gravure, bronzing, matt coating has been incorporated which enhanced the premiumness of the packaging to the best-The same won India Star Packaging award.
•Closely worked with major liquor Companies- Pernod Ricard & United Spirits Limited etc in their new launch jobs and successfully developed various cartons-Blenders Pride Reserve Collection, Royal Stag Barrel Select, MCD Cariba Rum, MCD Platinum, Royal Challenge Diet mate, Black Dog etc.
•Worked on numerous product launches and innovative packaging formats and successfully implemented in market.
•Developed several cartons which has won India- Star & World Star Packaging awards.
•Gone through the system of packaging evaluation cycle- material selection, validation, shelf life study, industrial study product compatibility and transport worthiness.
•Have basic knowledge of working in packaging development of Tins, Molds and Rigid Plastics.
