Duties and Responsibilities
 Engaged in planning, purchasing and monitoring of procurement for the company in a cost effective manner.
Enforce strict controls to cut cost and ensure maximum utilization of available resources.
 Directing monthly procurement of various Mechanical equipment’s, Fire Fighting materials, pipes, valves
and other required materials in Oil, Water & Gas Projects.
 Reviewing all contracts/agreements, conduct price and cost analysis of proposals.
 Formulated terms, pricing, quality requirements, delivery and contracts.
 Observe supplier reliability, dependability and establish contacts with prospective suppliers.
 Consulted with subordinates, planners, finance and logistics staff to share best practices, exchange
information, discuss and promptly resolve operational issues.
 Preserve the highest ethical standards and adhere to company policy and sound business practices.
 Keep up-to-date on current market conditions, pricing and sources of supply and services.
 Sound knowledge on shipping procedures. Nominating and selecting forwarding agents & verifying shipping
documentation.
 Research potential suppliers, sub-contractors and service contracts from in Local and International markets
for required materials and products & services.
 Sourced from suppliers capable of offering better products and offer cost saving products / services for the
company.
 Sensing bottleneck, critical activities & take appropriate actions.
 Identifying and expediting critical material & contract delivery to meet project schedules.
 Processing of Purchase Orders in accordance to spec compliance with international commercials terms
(INCOTERMS).
 Develop most suitable procurement strategy and select the appropriate bidder & cost effective optimization.
 Collaborated with purchase & procurement department / expediting team for delivery of equipment & to
review the status of procurement activities and take corrective action as needed.
