Smartworld is a joint venture between Etisalat and Dubai South.
• Handling Channel Partnership Division of Smartworld.
o Implementing human resources programs by providing human resources services, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention.
o Improving manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solution; coaching and counseling managers and employees.
o Protecting organization's value by keeping information confidential.
o Employee grievance handling.
• Talent Acquisition
o Coordinating with hiring managers to identify staffing needs.
o Determining selection criteria.
o Sourcing potential candidates.
o Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews
o Design interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements.
o Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events.
o Forecast quarterly and annual hiring needs by department.
o Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates.
• Learning & Development
o Identify training and development needs within the organization through job analysis and regular consultation with business managers and human resources department.
o Design and expand training and development programs based on the needs of the organization and the employee.
o Consider the costs of planned programs and keep within budgets.
o Produce program outlines that are satisfactory to all relevant parties in an organization, such as line managers and senior managers.
o Evaluate training and development programs.
o Keep up to date with developments in training by reading relevant journals, going to meetings and attending relevant courses.
o Research new technologies and methodologies in workplace learning and present this research.
• Administration of Learning & Development
o Take responsibility for ensuring all training rooms / venues, equipment, catering arrangements, and other requirements are booked up or canceled in advance.
o Responsible for all communication related training course to the delegates / managers in advance of training courses.
o Ensure approval of training vendor & trainer / course content is obtained.
o Ensure attendance of participants, and their training materials distribution.
o Ensure the delivery of certificates to all participants.
o Prepare and administrate all training needs as per the training plan & Trainer.
o Ensure training data updating and prepare related statistics.
o Prepare files & records for each training program.
o Prepare internal and external reports.
• Compensation & Benefits
o Calculation of Commissions.
o Ensuring that the payout complies with the Commission policy.
o Adding expense claims to employee’s payroll.
• HR Administration/Payroll
o Creating invoice, purchase orders.
o Processing monthly attendance for employees & interns.
o Maintaining employees personal files and records, communicating HR policies & across the organization at all levels.
o Performed analysis and processing of payroll transactions for new hires, transfers, and terminations. Audit timesheets and timecards.
o Maintaining employee confidence and protected payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
o Co-ordinate on insurance claims.
o Tracking attendance, maintaining leave records, PF records, issue letters, etc.
o Keeping track of Confirmation, Appraisals, and Increments of employees.
o Preparing various letters like offer letter, employment contract, confirmation letter, increment letter, warning letter, experience letter, termination contract letter.
o Calculation of Commissions. Ensuring that the payout complies with the Commission policy.
