Lead the Safety team for three major overhauling of 800MW units in India's second largest thermal power plant
• Carried out internal audits to ensure project HSE compliance. Participated in client audits for Safety, Environment, Emergency Response, Camp & Medical audits and do closeout of observations. Consistently achieved more than 85% in safety audits and more than 90% in environment audits for ASU project.
• Prepared 70+ incident investigation reports with corrective & preventive action for a single project. Team member for conducting risk assessment and assist construction in preparing method statement & job safety analysis.
• Developed & implemented Environment Management Plan, made COSHH assessments, monitored waste management and submit environmental reports for full project.
• Maintained documents as per client requirements and in line with OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 & 9001 standards. Successfully completed 2 third party IMS audits without any NCR.
• As senior Emergency Management team member, prepared rescue plans & demonstrations for critical works and organized 7 mock drills.
• Represent company in daily client meetings to coordinate permit to work, commissioning activities and SIMOPS with client and other subcontractors.
• Simultaneously as an area HSE in-charge, managed 15 safety officers.
• Verify all work related documents to ensure all safe work procedures and JSA are followed.
• Conduct frequent inspections to identify the hazards and take preventive actions to reduce risks.

4. As the head of textiles spare parts manufacturing division, had to plan & schedule the production, quality control, raw materials purchase & inventory management for spare parts
Roles and responsibilities in GB Engineering Enterprises were as under
1. Develop and implement safety program to prevent unsafe acts & conditions, utilizing knowledge of industrial processes, mechanics, chemistry, psychology, and industrial health safety laws
2. Examine specifications for new machinery or equipment to define if all safety precautions have been included and proper PPE and other resources are provided
3. Inspect establishments for compliance with HSE & local regulations and work feasibility. Review results and confer with project officials to resolve situations where conditions are beyond acceptable levels
4. Assist in getting PTW and managing HSE officers assigned in various client locations. Monitor compliance in following OHSMS of client & take corrective actions when required
5. Conduct safety training to educate workers about safety policy & practices based on client requirement and on site-specific hazards while installation
Inspect work sites to ensure proper health& safety practices are being followed.
Identify hazards and ensure sufficient controls are implemented.
Report writing and keeping records as per legal requirements and ISO 9001:2008 standards.
Provide induction training and refresher training to workers and supervisors.
Inviting quotations and negotiate with vendors on supply of various materials.
Ensure timely availability of materials and keep track of stock.

Ongoing course with 80 hours of Practical and Theory classes at university and remaining as distance education. Course completed and finished 2 theory papers & one practical exam. Need to write two more theory paper during next vacation
