My Scope of Work as an MEP Engineer/coordinator are :
• Reviewing of Shop drawings, Material-Technical Submittal, prequalifications, the method of statements(MOS), inspection test plan (ITP), from the sub-contractor before consultant review.
• Inspect the installation of MEP works at site as per the approved shop drawing.
• Making Coordination with different subcontractors to complete the work most efficiently and ensure client satisfaction.
• Closing the Client/consultant SOR/NCR's in coordination with Management Representative.
• Coordinate with MEP Sub-contractor to provide MEP Clearances in time for civil & structural works.
• Provide temporary power supply in the site as per the requirements and project progress
• Coordinating with the Testing team, Suppliers, sub-contractors for completing the testing and commissioning tasks as per approved ITP and method statement as per project progress.
• Arrange coordination meeting between MEP subcontractors with Main contractor to sort out the important issues.
• Preparation of tracking logs of ATP’S, WIR, MVR, SOR, NCR, RFI.
• Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and Site Observation Reports (SOR), for the
Activities which are deviated from the Contract Specification or Employer Requirement.
• Coordinate with civil team to provide scaffolding for Mep subcontractor to install their high level mep services.
• Coordinate with quantity surveyor to prepare the final payments for Mep and other subcontractors.
• Doing snagging and also follow up the close out of client/consultant snags.
• Attend sites walks weekly with client and consultants and Analysed problems and recommended a solution as per site conditions.
• Attend technical and weekly progress meeting with client and consultants.
• Reviewing and approving all MEP As-built drawings.
• Liaise with Document Control for records management.
• Coordinate with Mep sub-contractor & supplier to get the spare parts, warranty certificates, operations and maintenance manuals and handover it to the End-user as per contract
