Conduct Task Launch Meetings (TLM) with management and senior staff of inbound sub-contractors before new activities begin on site.
Carry out daily site inspections of all welfare and construction areas to ensure that HSE standards are been maintained and works are carried out according to work method statement (WMS), HSE plan and relevant legislation.
Carry out “Toolbox Talk” and “Smart” on site videos production.
Attend HSE meetings as required by management and weekly site progress meeting to advice construction team on safety issues as required on site.
Identifying hazardous conditions and practice in the work place and suggest suitable corrective/preventive measures.
Represent project during client, PMC and GEC inspections/walk through
Coordinate emergency drills scenario to access workers and staff knowledge of emergency protocols and levels of awareness on site.
Ensure summer time measures are in place on time and assist in monitoring the heat stress index.
Prepared weekly and monthly reports
Inspect and tag on a periodic (monthly) basis full body harness and fire extinguishers.
Assist in initial investigation report after near misses, incidents or accidents.
Produce daily observation report for HSE Management (sent to all concerned persons for action) and monitor their effective closure.
Conduct onsite induction for VIP’s, day workers and new teams before granting access to site.
Participate in management safety tour of site.
My responsibilities included: Conducting field and site daily inspection and give report to that effect (Daily Observation Report)
Conducting accident and incident investigation and preparing required reports.
Ensure all works carried out are recorded in compliance with safe system of work (PTW)
Carry out checklist inspection of all heavy machinery/equipment before introduction to site
Conducting tool box talk
Develop occupational health and safety systems, including policies procedures and manuals. Extended HSE training to technical staff and headed aggregate safety data review activities.
Make sure management is properly updated on issues and new development in legislation
Carry out risk assessment before the commencement of critical activities.
Providing guidance using QCS 2014.
Coordinate, communicate and control safe system of work while carrying out the daily task.

Ensure heavy lifting procedure and preventions is maintained during lifting activities.
Identify related hazard and preventive measures as per client safety procedures and government construction specification.
Resolve complaints and make recommendations to manager for right actions, as required.
