• Reviewed current telecommunications network and technology capacities, evaluated business impact, costs, and
timelines for a system redesign based on software-defined network (SDN), and proposed network and protocol
architecture for optimal support of the enterprise communication products;
• Led enterprise communication products (Direct Internet Access, Metro Ethernet, IP VPN, SD-WAN) development from
concept, architecture, prototype, PoCs, and production deployment;
• Prepared technical sales manuals for the enterprise product portfolio, created and delivered product trainings for
commercial, technology and operational teams, and provided ongoing coaching and support for team members to
support their continuous improvement;
• Engaged with key customers to conduct business and operational assessments to determine the need for new
technologies and system enhancements, and architected tailored enterprise communications solutions;

Responsible for design, technical solution and specifications for building a new telecommunications network of JSC MEPSO,
Electricity Transmission System Operator of Macedonia, owning the high voltage transmission line grid in total length of
2.000+ km and the connected 400 KV & 110 KV substations. Provided technical guidance for the overall management and
administration of project. Followed up and monitored project progress and development and advised for improvements.
• Prepared inception report with review of the state of the telecommunications network, presented technical analysis
of the identified approaches for its improvement with strategic advisement for delivering better business values;
• Defined the new telecommunications network architecture intended for providing carrier services (Metro Ethernet,
MPLS-TP, Fiber Channel, Security, TV, Fiber Leased Lines) to external customers (Service Providers), besides delivering
the internal, enterprise network services (enterprise data, voice/VoIP, video surveillance, SCADA, AMR);
• Prepared HLD and technical specifications for procurement of networking equipment, cabling and management
systems that can best deliver those services.

Responsible for design, technical solution and specifications for improving telecommunications and networking in JSC
ELEM, Macedonian Power Plants providing 96% of the entire domestic electrical energy production, consisting of thermal
plants, hydro plants, mines and wind parks. Provided technical guidance for the overall management and administration
of project. Followed up and monitored project progress and development and advised for improvements.
• Prepared inception report with review of the current state of the telecommunications and networking in JSC ELEM;
• Defined the network architecture for the new, microwave telecommunications network, and presented technical-
financial analysis of the identified approaches for its improvement;
• Prepared HLD and technical specifications for procurement of networking equipment (P2P & P2MP microwave
equipment, routers, firewalls, switches, WiFi controllers and access points), cabling (ADSS and underground fiber
optics and UTP/FTP cabling) and management systems (NMS, SMS) that can best deliver those services;
• Oversaw delivery and installation of equipment, approved low-level designs and signed compliance certificates.

Hired for advising the Client to prepare and win the Tender for supply and maintenance of HFC/CMTS equipment for a
large CATV/Telecom operator in Kosovo.
• Advised Client of all technical, operational and financial aspects regarding the RFP from one of the largest CATV/
Telecom operators in Kosovo;
• Conducted market analysis, CMTS vendors research and competitive technical performance evaluation, developed
financial model, planned and managed preparation of the (winning) Tender Offer for the Client and participated in the
whole negotiation process with the CATV operator, until successful signing the Supply and Maintenance Contract.

Principal Technical Authority for design, technical solution and specifications for improving telecommunications network
and IT services of the Border Police at the Ministry of Interior of Serbia.
• Prepared inception report with organizational review and gap analysis of the IT and telecommunications equipment
and service, and presented technical-financial analysis of the identified approaches for fulfilling the operational
requirements, while being consistent the with global strategy of the Ministry. Explained features and benefits of the
different approaches and recommended the most appropriate option;
• Defined the network and system architecture of the recommended option, prepared HLD and technical specifications
for procurement of telecommunications equipment (microwave transmission systems, routers, switches, firewalls,
TETRA base stations and terminals) and IT systems (hardware and software, database systems, plate recognition
system, video surveillance system) that can best deliver those services.

Oversaw all technology operations for the National Public Broadcasting Operator. Supervised staff of 120. Managed
Engineering, R&D, ICT and O&M units. Developed long and short-term technology strategies to support business needs.
Directed architecture, infrastructure, services, procurement, deployment, asset management and maintenance functions.
Managed Sales & Customer Care operations in addition to technology functions.

Principal Technical Authority for design, technical solution and specifications for building a new Public Telecommunications
Network (NGN) of Northern Cyprus (including international voice gateways and Internet peering points).
• Prepared Concept and implementation plan for the new Telecom network (NGN), based on the conducted market
study and defined services and presented business-technical analysis of the identified approaches;
• Defined the network architecture of the proposed and accepted option, prepared HLD and technical specifications for
procurement of telecommunications equipment (DWDM, SDH, NGN core IP routers, firewalls, WiMax system,
ADSL/VDSL/FTTx, gateways to GSM/3G), cabling and management systems (NMS, AAA, OSS and BSS) that can best
deliver those services.

Directed all technical operations of the Satellite Teleport Centre, teleporting European and Middle East TV/Radio programs
to Australia and providing satellite broadcast services of the national TV stations to Europe, America and Australia.
Managed infrastructure, networks, service platforms, IT, procurement, deployment, asset management and maintenance
functions. Coordinated development and implementation of satellite- and terrestrial-based IP communication products.

Established and managed small consultancy firm specialized in technical planning, system design and integration, project
management and operations of IT/networking projects. Supervised consultants and developers. Created cost reduction
consulting services, helping clients reduce their telecommunications bills; Designed, managed development and
established IVR-based call center for servicing citizens in selected municipalities;
MACEDONIAN TELECOM (PART OF DEUTSCHE TELEKOM GROUP) | Skopje, Macedonia

Established and directed a new business unit (MTcom) in Macedonian Telecom, a €150M division of global telecom and
wireless company, with primary goals to introduce system integration into the business market sales and to cover carrier
& service provider wholesale market sales in Macedonia. Supervised 110 employees. Had responsibility for more than
€30M yearly revenue. Served on the Management Board.

Established and directed the new Sales Department. Defined processes, activities and structure. Conducted customer
segmentation activities based on revenues, size, products and locations. Performed pre-privatization activities.

Prepared investment-technical documentation for fiber optics and transmission systems (SDH, PDH) projects. Prepared
corporate network development strategy, project design and managed implementation of the corporate WAN, LANs, and
cabling network (3000+ nodes). Participated in the design and the implementation of the first ISP Internet Center. Provided
IT and networking solutions consultancy to large customers (Ministries, Public Enterprises, Banks, large enterprises).
