Coordinate department activities and special projects to ensure quality and meet timetables.
Follow up on his Sales team in order to ensure meeting or exceeding Sales targets
Conduct weekly / periodical sales meeting and analyze sale’s team performance (by region, by brand, by SKU) and suggest efficient improvement and action plans
Negotiate, with Sales Manager, commercial agreements of actual and new clients
Suggest ways to develop and improve sales through actual and potential clients
Implement and closely follow up on marketing activities, planograms and stock balance
Establish employee SMART OBJECTIVES and SALES TARGETS and conduct employee performance appraisal reviews.
Assist, coach and train his team on achieving objectives
Responsible for designing to his team an efficient route to market (RTM)
Coordinate with Human Resources concerning daily routine matters such as work assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees and shift rotations.
Report to his direct upper level authority market reports about: merchandizing, competition, promotional activities, collection delays, shelf shares and other important information
Ensure collection and ageing are timely
Responsible to meet department’s productivity and quality goals.
Handle customer Objections and work out efficient resolutions
Communicate with other Supervisors and Managers.
Stand in for the absence of any of his sales team
Supervise staff in accordance with company policies and procedures
Perform other duties as asked by the Management
Analyze key accounts historical performance data and derive forward monthly forecasts, in line with the Legal Entity yearly objectives and priorities
Prepare, negotiate and implement on monthly basis the Business Development Agreement (BDA’s) with respective customers, in coordination with senior management
Analyze periodically sales out data in order to assess current brand performance and identify hidden opportunities
Achieve the set and agreed forecast with the customers and the organization on monthly basis
Follow up with customers on any pending order in order to coordinate with the concerned warehouse and admin team accordingly to ensure customer satisfaction
Set up and execute marketing activities as per activity master plan in coordination with the trade marketing team
Analyze post activity ROI in order to ensure profitable investments
Prepare quarterly business reviews for management with the proper performance analysis of hits and misses, to be shared at the same time with the Key Accounts
Track and monitor monthly the marketing trade spend and accruals at a specific account, and inform management of any over spend or under spend vis-a-vis the agreed Business Development Agreement
Provide the needed coaching and guidance of the merchandising team in order to implement the set and agreed planograms and visibility projects
Generate on daily basis the stock and sales report and perform in order to analyze the figures and compare it with previous years
Identify key competitive performance and activity including slow sellers, new launches, brand activations, price changes etc. Through regular market visits, and develop necessary business and Tactical plans.
Maintain a current and accurate knowledge of competitor products, highlight their weaknesses and promote relevant strengths
Ensure that all receivables and collections are within the agreed payment / credit terms in order to sustain the company cash flow levels
Follow up on monthly basis, on account differences and reconcile accordingly to a minimal level of discrepancies
Communicate monthly to the Key Account his current performance as well as next month expectations and plans, aligned with the master plan agreed upon at the beginning of the year
Manage and sustain a professional relationship with respective Key Accounts through on-going follow- up of the Key Accounts daily requests/concerns, while keeping the best interest of the company on top of mind
Carry out other similar duties that can be defined within the broad functional job and functional responsibilities outlined above. These may include special missions assigned by direct superior, support to other units, providing on the job training, etc.
