Projects, skills related to medical physics include:
•Calibrating cylindrical and parallel plane ionization chambers in terms of absorbed dose to water and in free air kerma using 60Co beam
•Calibrating detectors used in radiation protection(60Co, 137Cs)
•Calibrating measuring instruments (Electrometers, Barometers and Thermometers)
•Periodical and regular determination of the absorbed dose to water and in free air kerma
•Calibrating thermoluminescents dosimeters to control clinical beams
•Participating in implementation of the new dosimetry protocol of the International Atomic Energy Agency (TRS398)
•Determination the dosimetry parameters related to the application of dosimetry protocols (effect of temperature, pressure, humidity)
•Participating in study an extrapolation chamber for absolute dosimetry of clinical beams
•Design and modeling of a PMMA solid water phantom for the extrapolation chamber using VariCad
•Design and modeling of a clone to the extrapolation chamber using VariCad
•Preparation and provision of Training Lab in the field of calibration and reference dosimetry for students preparing the following degrees: Engineer, Master and Magister in Medical Physics.

Projects, skills related to electronics engineering include:
•Participating in setting up data acquisition system with IEEE 488 interface and design HMI (Human Machine Interface) using LabView
•Repairing various electrical equipment and maintenance (60Co unit, TLD reader)
•Interfacing of various sensors to microcontrollers and PLCs
•Design and implementation an automatic phantom for absolute dosimetry in the framework of my final year studies project based on the PIC16F877 microcontroller
•Implementation of software for data acquisition based on LabView
•Design and implementation of electronic timer to control the On/Off of the shutter of the X-Ray generator, based on the PIC16F88 microcontroller
• Precise positioning of an x/y table using stepper motors and linear actuators
