Responsibilities:
• Monitor the works of relevant mechanical Contractors (HVAC, Firefighting, Plumbing, Pneumatic tube system, Medical Gas system, VRF system, LPG system, Fuel system, BED head unit installation) to insure quality and that installations are in accordance with drawings, specifications and local regulations.
• Follow quality assurance procedures for review and inspection of installations throughout the project period.
• Assist in the review of materials / Material submittals to ensure that they are in accordance with the specifications.
• Assist in the review of shop drawings to ensure that they are in accordance with the design and that they are coordinated and provide feedback to the design department for their action.
• Review 'As Built Drawings' and Operation and Maintenance manuals to ensure correctness, completeness and that they are in-line with the specifications.
• Preparation of BOQ as per approved drawing.
• Attend coordination meetings and anticipate potential problem areas and solve them before they occur.
• Assist in reviewing method statements and provide feedback to the appropriate personnel for their action.
• Prepare job site instructions and closely monitor the contractor's daily progress.
• Review, inspect and approve installations work of the HVAC, Firefighting, Plumbing, Pneumatic tube system, Medical Gas system, VRF system, LPG system, Fuel system, BED head unit installation as per the approved drawing, specification and standards.
• Issue field observation report and none compliance reports (NCR).
• Witness testing and commissioning of various plant and systems.
• Generate punch list of incomplete work and follow up contractors on their progress.
• Ensure proper safety precautions are taken throughout the construction site.
• Maintain project documents and records in conformity with Technical norms, so that it can be easily retrieve in case of audits.
• Arranging daily progress meeting with contractors, weekly progress meeting with client & consultant.
• Review of T & C program.
• Preparing documents for the Authorities approval like QCDD, WOQOD & QP
