Program: Development of Security Forces Medical City “SFMC” at Riyadh and Jeddah 20 billion SAR “$6.0bn”.
The program each site plot area is 3.5million m2 with mega Infrastructural works, Saudi Arabia’s largest healthcare project, and also the largest medical project in the GCC.
This comprises two separate medical cities for security forces that are being developed in Riyadh and Jeddah on behalf of the Kingdom’s Interior Ministry.
Project’s Main Features:
o Medical Facilities “Post-tension”: Main hospital 1300 beds, Children’s Hospital, and birthing center &Hospital of Hope.
o Residential “Precast”: 300 Villas, 29 Multistory Family Building -11 Singe Apartment Towers- Masjids - Retail and Commercial /Malls -Sports and Recreation Building - Single Nurses Fitness- Playgrounds.
o Infrastructure: All Networks: Potable, Storm, Sewage, Irrigation, artificial Channel, LPG& Pump Lift Stations, Hundreds Kms of Roads.
o Utility Buildings: Chiller, Boiler, Central Laundry, Warehouse, Vehicle Maintenance Workshop, Solid waste transfer, Fire Brigade Station, Filling station & washing facility, Engineering Building.
o Data Center.
o Nine Multistory Car Parking.
o Fences, ‘utility tunnel -culverts, bridges.
o Wastewater treatment plant, Main Electrical substation &2 Secondary, Standby power plant, Medical Gas, Irrigation Reservoir, and Ground water tank and Two Deep Wells “2, 5 Km depth”.


Role and Responsibilities:
• Manage, control, and monitor the project so that it is delivered to agreed time, cost, and quality requirements, regularly reviewing and reporting on progress against plan and, where necessary, intervening to resolve issues that threaten delivery to plan and ensure that the project adheres to all policies and procedures and that they are carried out in such a way as to minimize risk and maximize opportunities.
• Direct and coordinate the monitoring and surveillance of all Construction Contractor's site activities, in accordance with the requirements of the Project Contract's Terms.
• Direct and supervise the activities of the document control and administration functions in the Facilities Management Team construction site office.
• Coordinate and instruct Facilities Management Team base technical staff to ensure the effective execution of the Engineer's Terms of Reference with respect to the Construction Contractor's site activities.
• Ensure that the planning and implementation of surveys receive all necessary local support and input.
• Direct and coordinate the monitoring of as-built records to ensure their authenticity.
• Liaise and coordinate activities with the Technical Office Manager as necessary and refer any matters requiring design office resolution to him.
• Implement and coordinate the review and comment of the Construction documents at the site, and specifications to ensure adequacy in respect of local site conditions, maintainability, correctness, and buildability.
• Act as the senior site representative for all liaisons with other participating organizations in respect of his area of responsibility.
• Manage and coordinate the available resources to ensure the effective execution of the Engineer's brief in respect of the Construction Contractor's site activities.
• To ensure that all Facilities Management Team activities are under control and all undertaken in accordance with the applicable specifications, standards, codes of practice, and quality system documentation.
• Conduct post-project appraisals and ensure “lessons learned” dissemination across other business teams.
• Monitor contract change activities in liaison with the Top Management.
• Direct and coordinate Facilities Management Team participation in handover activities.

King Abdullah Bin Abdul-Aziz for development of the security facilities Project 5.5 billion $.
• The King Abdullah Bin Abdelaziz’s Project (KAP2) was launched to develop security facilities across Saudi Arabia in order to upgrade the military standards of the Kingdom. This ‘program’ is spread over 44 sites among 5 zones in the country with a total construction area of over 3, 5 million square-meters. Although fundamentally a ‘public security’ project; KAP2 consists of a variety of building types including Educational, Staff Housing, medical centers, training facilities, shooting ranges, clinics & forensic laboratories, recreational facilities, auditoriums and congregational facilities, mosques, shops, sports buildings and other institutional facilities.
