Lead the finance teams in Istanbul, In Kigali - Rwanda and coordinate the overall finance activity with external
accounting firm in Dubai.
Analyse and guarantee the reliability of the accountancy data with the help of all the functions.
Implement and maintain control measures related to P&L and Balance Sheet items (with special focus on Working
Capital optimization, mainly Account Receivables and Inventory);
Perform periodic special financial analyses as requested by the local management or HQ; the objective is to maximize
efficiency of resource allocation and waste prevention; challenge and give directions to operational staff;
Analyzing of variances against budget, forecast and prior year, suggesting adequate corrective actions where needed;
Guarantee the application of the corporate authorizations policy and ensure the investments appropriate approval and
monitoring, both materials and intangibles.
Develop performance analyses: prepare KPI's, track key performance measures for the different divisions and product
groups and implement indicators improvements;
To be the responsible of all the projects economic information, and of the management of construction contracts.
Produce monthly and quarterly reports (P&L, Balance Sheet) in format required by the local management.
Prepare Budgets and quarterly Forecasts: planning, data collection from Sales and Marketing departments, consolidate,
challenge data, present relevant reports to the local management and HQ.
Supervise Local Accounting, Tax and relationship with the tax advisors;
Coordinate the activities linked to the monthly reporting package for the headquarter in a timely and accurate manner
according to Group rules;
Make accurate, relevant and timely P&L, BS, NWC and CF reports on monthly/quarterly/annual basis and make financial analysis to accurately reflect the status of the business.
•Leading the company’s general financial planning processes, controlling and coordinating the business plans, budget, and forecasts.
•Responsible for assessing the company’s performance against both short / long term strategy as well as the company’s budget
•Actively participate in the budget process, produce regular budget reports containing recommendations to commercial management.
•Compare the results with the budget and support B&P Group Manager for taking action in order to reach the targets.
•Support other departments by presenting correct and effective budget data so as to ensure that effective decisions are taken, and to contribute business performance for the company to reach commercial targets.
•Support Finance team in coordination and facilitation of external audits including the annual audit and interim state audits.
Perform profitability analysis of the products; follow up the sales performances and gross margins, preparation of product P/L’s for PCP Category; Palmolive, Protex, Hacı Şakir, LSS and Ajax.
•Prepare, analyze and investigate trends for key SKU’s at business and product level versus plan using historical / other comparative data and provide value-adding commentary, on performance variances, applying deep analysis of the business. Provide the output based on different business scenarios.
•Make accurate, relevant and timely P&L, BS, NWC and CF reports on monthly/quarterly/annual basis and make financial analysis to accurately reflect the status of the business.
•Follow up and manage P/L line items and prepare Gross Profit, Margin, NVO Roll-forward calculations and make commentaries for these tables on quarterly basis.
•Check the accuracy of NVO expenses (OPEX) against targets for all departments monthly.
•Actively participate in the budget process, produce regular budget reports containing recommendations to commercial management and prepare company’s financial exhibits to present in budget reviews.
• Auditing of financial statements in accordance with International Accounting Standards (IAS), Capital Market Board (SPK) obligations, Turkish Procedural Tax Laws, US GAAP etc.,
• Miscellaneous audits conducted in accordance with International Standards on Auditing,
• Reviewing financial situation of company’s internal organization, as well as its systems of internal control,
• Performing controls on deferred tax and provision works,
• Experience in providing audit service to a wide range of clients.
