Including, but limited to: Risk Management. Establish and maintain contacts with insurance companies. Oversee the portion of assets considered to be self-insured and the portion of assets to be transferred to insurers. Ensure that the regular/periodic market surveys are conducted for both domestic and international market. Oversee the contractor/vendors financial stability and risk asses their position through evaluation of audited financial statements. Review the assessment of Financial upgrade application made by financially disqualified contractors/vendors to participate in the bid slot. Review the preparation of insurance bid specifications; gathers data from all SEC business units and prepare the bid package and wherever necessary work with contracting team to complete the bidding process. Negotiate the final wording of all insurance policies; ensures that SEC’s interests are protected and not exposed. Establish clear risk control policies aimed at reducing the cost of insurance to the company. Direct and coordinates all claim issues . Manage and coordinates assets evaluation.

Oversee the preparation of periodical loss history and circulate to the concerned organizations to caution and further improvement. Conduct periodic risk surveys, analyse risk features, oversee implementation of risk improvement recommendations.
