I am working as a process engineer of hydrotreters complex which have 6 units. also looking a commissioning & precommissioning activity for all 6 units.

 Provide close unit performance monitoring to measure the performance, detect performance deviations or gaps and identify bottlenecks.
 Participate in the efforts to make the units more reliable, in particular in terms of product quality and cycle length (which include corrosion control).
the operating costs (catalysts, chemicals consumption).
 Capitalize on the internal process know-how.
 Providing expertise and Process Technology.
 Taking decision as a process/technical & operation point of view for commissioning & pre-commissioning activities with EPCC & Licensors.
 To formulate, in liaison with Senior Process Engineer, recommendations regarding the choice of process technology, process equipment, processing chemicals, catalysts etc. to the plants to ensure proper operation.
 To work in teams or as assigned to develop concepts for new projects, modifications and improvement ideas, and to organize and implement feasibility studies, internally or through outside consultants. Also to coordinate with counterparts in concerned departments and disciplines within Company group companies during the above studies and to incorporate the inputs, comments and requirements as required.
 To actively participate in the exercise of process licensor evaluation and selection for new/modification projects ensuring that company is keeping track of new technology, improvements, and innovations in process technology.
 To assist operating plants in resolving their chronic problems and removing any major difficulties in operation and to periodically provide guidance and advice to achieve high efficiency.
 To ensure that the operating plants are always supported in sorting out and resolving their technical problems and issues in order not to have any sudden deterioration of products.

 Studied & Reviewed of Process flow diagram (PFDs), Process & instrumentation diagram (P& IDs), Utility P & IDs, Auxiliary P & IDs, Interconnectivity ISBL-OSBL P & IDs and LDTs supplied by UOP & Bechtel.
 Preparation of Pre-commissioning & Commissioning activities related Plan, Budget, SOP, Risk Assessment, and Checklist & Formats.
 Studied & Reviewed GA drawings, Datasheet for Columns, Heat exchangers, Reactors, Heaters, Vessels, Fin Fans etc.
 Studied & Reviewed Cause & Effect diagram for KHT & CNHT plant supplied by UOP & Bechtel.
 Preparation of Operating Manual, Pocket manual, Start up SOP, Risk Assessment, Logbook & Log sheet for new modification.
 Hydrotest piping Loops system - subsystem preparation & Validation of loops system - subsystem during various stage of erection: Isometric clearance, Hydrotest clearance, Flushing and Final boxed up clearance.
 Conventional flushing of loops (Card board bursting, Air blowing, Steam blowing, Water flushing & Lube oil flushing).
 Non-Conventional flushing of loops (Pigging, Rotomol cleaning & Hydrojetting) of lines & equipment.
 Chemical cleaning & passivation of lines i.e. Cooling Water, Compressor suction lines & equipments i.e. Heat exchangers
 Catalyst & chemical loading-Unloading of reactor (Sock Load & Dense load)(including UOP+ Albemarle+ Petroval).
 During start-up followed step wise procedure for catalysts likes drying, Prewetting & Sulfiding etc…
 Instrument & control loop checking & validation of loops.
 Prepared Punch point for every loop & follow-up with the EPCC & Licensor.
 Pre-startup safety review (PSSR) of system to make system ready for safe & sure commissioning.
 Training of operators for normal and emergency procedures of commissioning & start up activities.
 Planning and execution of various hot tie-ins & cold tie-ins in existing running units as per HSEF safety targets, procedures and practices.
