• Active involvement in recruitment for all staff within the School using the in-house recruitment system or external job boards (Naukrigulf, Dubizzle, LinkedIn, TES, Expat Women, Gulf Talent) & handling new hire’s on-boarding process & ensuring smooth & positive employment insertion. Arranging employment contracts, VISA applications & cancellations.

• Ensure all required documents in hand prior to the joining of academics hires from UK and Ireland including Last 10 years Police checks, 3 references, attested certificates, Child safeguarding certificate and provide in-house training for non- English speaker e.g. Contractors, welfare Staff, Janitor and office assistant.

• Administering monthly payroll, benefits program e.g. RTA permits, health insurances, occupational health cards, vacations, leaves, air tickets, EOSB & other employee required assistance. Staff accommodation management for existing staff & housing arrangements for new hires. Providing the best housing services in compliance with School housing policy. Oversees and inspects the company housing facility before the arrival of new staff. Approves any utility replacement in case of faults and damages

• Working jointly with various departments in a consultancy role. Assisting line managers, Finance managers, Facility managers to understand & implement School policies.

• Implement the School’s Human Capital Strategy in line with the vision of the School and facilitate the process of recruitment involving reviewing resume, interviewing, evaluating applicant skills & making recommendations. Maintaining remuneration scales in accordance with financial objectives. Also maintain employee data base & update files on employee records, legal documents & other employee matters, efficiently & confidentiality.

• Implement strategies to correct operational problems relating to staff (including absenteeism, turn over, retention etc.). Assist in preparing the Human Resource budget. Analyses, on an ongoing basis, HR costs to ensure performance against budgets.

• Ensure clear lines of communication exist to disseminate information affecting employer - employee relations. Assist in maintaining & creating a positive atmosphere within the school that allows open two-way communication. Assist in the administration of the Performance Appraisal Programme & act in advisory capacity to department heads on the process. Regularly analyses School manpower requirements & recommend selection & development activities to meet those requirements. Conduct exit interviews to identify reasons for employee turnover.

• Work with facility department to ensure records and renewing government related documents (KHDA, Trade License, Health insurance, Civil Defense Certificate are up to date. Attending job fairs/events when needed.
