Seconded as Finance Head/Finance Manager for various organisations with P & L responsibility in the region of AED 150 Million. Responsibilities included:

• Working capital management and liaisoning with banks on all matters
• Preparing management reports as per business requirements
• Preparing business plans and analysis; annual budgets and forecasts and monitoring them;
• Liaisoning with external auditors, regulators on statutory compliance matters
• Payroll management and implementation of various financial accounting systems

Responsible for monthly management reporting, financial analysis and reporting for one business unit. Responsible for preparing annual operating plans, quarterly forecasts, monitoring of working capital. Review of profitability by product, by distributor, by country. Review of pricing. Advising the executive management on pricing.

• Co-ordinated the preparation of financial and management accounts on a periodic basis for the International Region spanning Australia; Asia, Middle East, Africa and South America
• Responsible for preparing monthly financial pack with variance analysis and ensure timely reconciliation on all balance sheet accounts.
• Assisted the Finance Director and Managing Director with special financial projects.
• Supported the strategic planning process
• Supported new business units and providing guidance for their control, accounting and reporting

• Financial accounting and Management accounting and reporting.
• Management of regional office finances; working capital and funds management.
• Providing support and regular monthly reports for the Regional Manager and senior management in head office

• Managed the Accounting and Management reporting outsourcing function of the firm for its clients, which involved maintaining financial and management reporting systems
• Planned, coordinated and performed audit engagements.
• Clients serviced included: Nestle; Compaq; Credit Suisse; Nortel Networks; Cache Flow; Allen & Overy; Etisalat; DEWA etc

• Management & Financial Accounting - preparation of financial statements for consolidation
• Treasury / Working capital management; liaising with the banks and financial institutions.
