o Assisting MNCs establish presence in the region (setting up in various free zones
in UAE

• Research and drafting of opinion on cross border taxation issues for Indian Corporate
Clients.
• Transfer Pricing Audits and Documentation reports of MNCs in India.
• Foreign Exchange Regulations related advisory for Indian MNCs.
Other Highlights
• Sectors and Industry exposure include FMCG, Pharma, Infrastructure, Poultry and animal
husbandry, medical devices, automotive, chemicals, Software and ITeS and financial
services.
• Addressed multiple topics and sessions on following subject, at various forums (in India
and UAE):
1. Doing business in India
2. UAE VAT Regulations
3. Transfer Pricing (Global & Indian)
These were delivered at different trade bodies, independent organizations, associations and
chambers.
• Led thought leadership articles and publications in various professional journals and in-
house for the group on various subjects including UAE VAT, Tax and Transfer Pricing
• Holding certificate from American University in Dubai in conjunction with Dubai
Economic Department (DED) for the purposes of acting as a manager in business entity
intending to perform “consulting” activities

• Operational Role:
o Advising on matters that involve balancing regulation of various jurisdictions
globally (more specifically in the APAC and African region) on transfer pricing
aspects and assisting in preparation of Master File and Local file in line with OECD
BEPS program
o Involved in complex tax advisory assignments, encompassing Permanent
Establishment, DTAA, Withholding Tax, Corporate tax and transfer pricing
matters and thereby delivering solutions from a holistic perspective.
o Represented MNCs and Indian multinational groups in their revenue audits before
the tax officers and appellate authorities (in India).
o Participated in negotiations with the Indian revenue authorities in relation to
Advance Pricing Agreements (APAs) for multinationals in India.
• Management Role:
o Lead projects involving process and efficiency improvements.
o Involved and contributed for strategizing the budgeting, pricing and business plan
for the practice and presentation to management.
o Spearheaded the new focus areas of the practice
