Driving supply chain operation warehouse activities, safety, performance, employee development and warehouse process improvements analyze complex operations and or problems, identify causes, document and present corporate recommended solutions including the evaluation of risks and people capabilities by embedding the company’s values Manage the performance of the warehousing managers including establishment of processes, streamline these processes and procedures to ensure each customer gets the same great experience, planning of labor requirements and ensures safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsible for all consolidated warehouse operations, logistics support, and the proper placement of personnel and assets in the region direct and monitor employees through the warehouse managers to accomplish the goals of the warehouse provide effective management of warehousing activities to deliver high quality services for business units within the region, including stock takes, unloading, receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch, Establishing delivery processes: Streamline these processes and procedures to ensure each customer gets the same great experience
Manage a Warehousing Operational Dashboard, including a set of metrics and key performance indicators that will help the process of standardizing operations and allowing benchmark comparison between the different warehouses in the region. Assign duties, instructs, and supervises subordinates in proper work techniques and procedures Plan and analyze operational data and reports to ascertain degree of conformity with established policies, work standards, and procedural directives Inspects and evaluates inventory management activities Prepare and update warehouse layout plans Analyze statistical data to determine effectiveness of the operating procedures Prepare future warehousing needs and designs for the region based on target growth rate, expansion, customer demands, and facility end of lease or end of lifework closely with operations regional and corporate Manager, on time delivery, Customer Service, Supply Planning, Transport.
Driving supply chain services including customer service, Projects, Safety & Security, HR & Admin, Petty cash, WH
Finance warehousing, inventory control, transportation, fleet, maintenance, MHE, Procurement, Purchase,
housekeeping, materials handling, and strategic planning.
• Aligning the activities of subordinates & managing the warehousing operation, and distribution management function for
the entire western region of KSA
• Facilitating the change management and new process (Oracle WMS) initiatives
• Exploring & seizing profitable business opportunities and maximizing customer efficiencies
• Increasing fleet/equipment utilization and fuel efficiency, contributing to equipment specification at time of start-up and
renewal, building a strong working relationship with PTL and other equipment vendors.
Accomplishments:
• Actively involved in implementing Oracle (WMS) forWestern Region of KSA (Jeddah), thereby achieving transition plans,
planned productivity and continuous improvement
• Effectively controlled budget and responsibility for profit and loss (P&L) statements, revenue attainment, cost controls,
payroll hours, yield improvements, & cost reduction programs like Budget Management System, Cost Optimizations, and
Labor Cost.
• Achieved cost savings of approximately 1Lac SAR from
Role:
• Monthly management report preparations and review material cost, annual budget, lead time for imports, forecast and detention cum demurrage cost. Daily review with team for demand clearing of imports shipment and timely delivering to the site & plant. Control plan for demurrage & detention charges for import shipments
• Co-ordinate with customs, CHA, & Transports, department internal & external audit preparations & co-ordinations, Co-ordinate with corporate legal team & full fill all statutory requirements in place for purchase, imports, customs and Exim’s.
• Logistics RFQ, Contract & Negotiations for AIR, Ocean freight, CHA, domestic Transportations. Vendor rating, ABC, BOM Pricing, Approved vendor, Landed Cost and Vendor Rating
• Establish the SEZ & FTWZ -in terms of handling cost, warehouse cost, transport cost,
• Handling of customs with all requirements and meeting, handling experience in customs house, port & port traffic, Exim policy and DRI for our import Shipments.
• Registration of “Advance License”; “Status Holder Certificate”; “Incentive Scheme’ and Co-ordinate with all internal and external support functions.
• Identify all Indian ports resources, customs clearances, legal aspects conduct road survey to plan for ODC cargo movements, handling of Port operations, traffic control, interacting, Bonding & De-Bonding process, warfare, CFS and other all.
• Insurance & survey for all company imports. Drafting for Exports and support docs & logistics planning. Adhering marine policy & all other ODC requirement for FTA trading requirements to the Organizations.
System:
• SAP implementation coordinate with Wipro and based on the requirements full filling for successful SAP integrated for the group.
• SAP expert in PR, PO, Imports, Cost, Shipment Creation & Routes, Transport, Bank LC Opening & Closing, report generating & review with team. PO schedule align with import shipment TAT, PR to PO Conversion. And all SAP data updating purchase & logistics dept end to end.
Port & ODC Cargo:
• Identified all Indian ports resources, vessel birthing, stevedoring, port chart and legal aspects, conducting road survey & port survey for ODC cargo like wind mill tower discharge & wind blade.
• Managed the insurance and survey for all company imports GR & IR reconciliations and tracking till Park /Blocked Invoices.
• Adhered to the marine policy and all other ODC requirements for FTA trading
• Direct responsible for Vietnam tower import from factory, barge operations, loading in Port and Discharged with Stevedore in Mumbai port
Spearheaded a team of 35 people handling various profiles like:
o Inbound & outbound export, resource planning, forecast planning, subcontracting, inventory, cycle count, order
fulfillment, excise audit, customs clearance, so on
o KANBAN, MPH- Lean manufacturing, insurance, scrap disposal, customer satisfactions and DC coordination with
domestics & overseas partners
• Conducted negotiations and coordination with internal and external departments
• Involved in managing order fulfillment for IG & OG, SEZ, CT3 and deemed export customers
• Supervised all certificates like ISFT, Form A, ARE1 and proof of exports
• Monitored the new projects logistics offer, label, MRP, packing and pallet designing
• Tracked all domestic & international logistics contract and insurance claims
