• Interacting with client / contractor for selection of VAV / CAV based on airflow, total pressure loss and noise level criteria.
• Interacting with client / contractor for selection of duct heaters.
• Responsible for fabrication of VAV and quality check after production.
• Perform calibration and commissioning of VAV at the site.
• Perform troubleshooting of VAVs at the site.
• Perform factory test of VAV along with client or consultant for approval of VAV and calibration method performed in the factory.
• Prepare various types of report such as calibration report, commissioning report, factory acceptance test report, factory calibration method of statement and so on.
• Provide technical support to the client for any kind of queries related to VAV and heater.
• Involved in design and development of own VAVs, Fire dampers, MFSDs and VCDs.
• Involved in catalogue preparation for the developed products.

• Provide the Site Manager with Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedule for implementation and handle the follow up on the same.
• Carry out routine checks for correct operation of all control equipment as directed by site management.
• Perform daily auditing of plant performance by utilizing the facilities built on the building management system e.g. data logging, plant review, alarm manager status, etc.
• Coordinate all scheduled maintenance with impacted personnel.
• Plan on downtime for preventive maintenance and request to Manager for downtime when necessary for emergency repairs.
• Monitor the operation of the HVAC control and Electrical systems using the BMS to monitor performance.
• Analyze reasons of failure of plants and provides specific diagnostic, problem analysis and specify the necessary remedial actions for Manager’s approval.
• Use the historical logged data of various plants to review the system and propose improvements in order to enhance the system efficiency and reduce the operation cost as well as improve the services provided to customer.
• Maintain and rectify the control systems throughout the site as determined by the manufacturers.
• Facilitate quotes for maintenance repair works.
• To provide advice to site management on the selection and requisition of materials for use in the maintenance and repair of equipment and to check whether the materials are fit for purpose and as specified.
• Shall be capable to produce value added recommendations which would contribute to resolving snags in different areas.
• Ensure that PPM, CM, SR and WO completed in a timely manner and all these reports are prepared for submission to client as per the agreed times.
• Ensure that O & M manual and Testing and Commissioning reports are available at site.
• Provide a high level of customer service to the client and site personnel
• Actively participate in the training and development plan as agreed at the appraisal to include HVAC control and electrical systems trade and language training as required.
• Conduct Safety Meetings and Toolbox talks to increase safety awareness.

• Completing Planned Preventive and Corrective Maintenance in accordance to agreed schedule and achieve completion rate.
• Maintaining the response time as agreed with the client.
• Evaluating the PM/CM reports for job completion time, spare parts requirements and quality of work and submit a report.
• Plan and schedule tasks to technicians and supervise their activities.
• Supports Technicians in day to day tasks as required.
