Oversee E&I installation/ maintenance work at sites & assist in workforce planning, solve routine daily problems, Lead/motivate & delegate projects to subordinates from beginning to completion.

Installation of HV/LV electrical equipment, cables, motors, breakers, MCC generator, battery, cable laying, Jointing, Gland & Termination, DG set, battery bank, AC/DC power points, Inverters, rectifiers, fire alarm system & intruder/burglar systems.

Executes the specific inspections on materials, equipment, and construction/installation activities on site.

Assist in Issues with the relevant Quality Records and, when necessary, writes and sends to QC Supervisor non-conformance reports.

Checks cable laying and cable identification.

Performs tests of continuity, insulation resistance.

Performs punch-listing operations.

Updates as-built drawings.

Ensure the correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan.

Assist/ Perform visual inspections, dimensional test, checks rating, and material for connection.

Accountability & Duties/ Responsibilities;

Accountability & Duties/ Responsibilities;

Review electrical engineering drawings and refer to issues requiring changes.

Assign job tasks and work as per electrical project schedules.

Review all electrical drawings with Lead-men performing assigned jobs to them.

Stimulate fabrication standards to ensure quality work attained from assigned staff.

Recruit, guide, train, monitor, and terminate assigned employees as required.

Schedule, assign, plan and supervise electrical shop personnel performance on different electrical projects.

Develop electrical material and labor forecasts.

Train and inform employees about new work procedures.

Provide information on modification on work policies, safety regulations, electrical codes, and specifications.

Support Electrical Engineers with design needs, etc.

Accountability & Duties/ Responsibilities;

Liaise with colleagues and supervisors on timeframes and labor requirements.

Collate site M&E drawings.

Designing and implementing work schedules for the electrical staff.

Complete an initial electrical site safety report before each job begins.

Oversee electricians and electrical subcontractors, issue commissioning engineering permits, and assist with the commissioning phase.

Complete electrical site safety audits and electrical completion paperwork.

Ensure safe working practices and electrical safety rules are followed by electricians on site.

Provide motivation and help when necessary.
Inspecting and assessing the work by the electrical staff.

Reading and interpreting design schematics to ensure proper installation of electrical systems.

Troubleshooting major system failures and equipment malfunctions.

Repairing and maintaining electrical equipment.
Ensuring the work is completed on schedule and to code.

Maintain a safe and clean work area.
Consulting with builders, architects, and other workers on-site, etc.

Accountability & Duties/ Responsibilities;

Schedules, assigns, plans, and monitors the work of electrical shop personnel performing a variety of electrical projects.

Plans and develops work schedules, equipment usage schedules, the priority of electrical expenditures, and procedures for equipment and appliance maintenance.

Reviews plans for future buildings and inspects new buildings to ensure compatibility with existing electrical codes and maintenance standards.

Prepare material and labor estimates.

Monitors the acquisition and use of materials.

Maintains time, payroll, work orders, materials, equipment, and other electrical shop records and submits reports.

Trains or informs employees of new work methods and procedures, changes in safety regulations, work policies, electrical codes and standards, and the like.

Inspects new construction and remodels.

Assists Engineers in design requirements, etc.

Accountability & Duties/ Responsibilities;

Supervises and coordinates activities of ELECTRICIAN, MAINTENANCE, and ELECTRICIAN engaged in construction, maintenance,

Maintain and repair of electric power, lighting, and communication systems of buildings, and factories equipment: Plans wiring and installation of equipment and fixtures, such as motors, generators, switches, circuit breakers, and fuse boxes, according to blueprints, schematic drawings, and sketches.

Ensures that the construction work is carried out as per the above project Specifications and Standards.

Controls of materials and workers at the site.

Notifies to Electrical Manager of the completion of the preparation of the site for inspection.

Preparation of the site for inspection.

Initiates RFI for material receiving inspection.

Checks that construction work is ready for inspection and prepares RFI.

Assistance for inspection and testing when required at the site.

Checks PPE in accordance with site conditions.

Checks the equipment and materials which are required for work.

Inspects wiring and fixtures for conformance to company specifications or local electrical codes, using test equipment, such as voltmeter and ohmmeter.

Performs other duties as described under SUPERVISOR Master Title.

Manage routine preventive electrical maintenance & troubleshoot systems/ facilities defects to reduced cost and avoid loss of productions as a result of equipment malfunction

Project manage equipment installations, shutdowns, and maintenance rebuilds

Uses instruments to test circuits and replaces or installs new power, lights, electronic and control circuits

Performs a wide variety of functions such as installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment for generating, distributing, and utilizing electrical energy

Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, conveyor systems and production machines and equipment using testing instruments, hand and power tools and precision-measuring instruments

Complies with departmental policy for the safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials. Maintains a clean and safe work space

Implement and enforces LOTO before testing commissioning activities, extend supports in emergency repair, restoration of the system, and maintain a logbook

Handle work permits in green and brownfields and operate LV, MV, HV, Auto/ manual changeover, and bus couple combination feeders during testing and inspection

Perform various tests such as Continuity, Insulation/ Contact, Earth resistance, Polarization Index, Hi-Pot, Motor Solo-Run (Notice level, Motor Bearing Temperature, Vibration, RPM, Polarity, torque), Illumination and impedance

Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly progress reports and submit them to dept. Manager
