• Administration & thorough Review of Issued Design Drawings / information, reporting to the Project Manager (LAGAN CONSTRUCTIONS LTD) for prompt exchange of correspondence, submittals, and RFI's to the Designers through Project Management Consultants.
• Preparation of Shop Drawings along with BBS for all Drainage structures, roads, infrastructure services (Gas, Water Supply, Firefighting, Sewerage etc.), Infrastructures i.e Bridges, Underpasses etc, sewage treatment plant and buildings based on original levels and information received from site.
• Attend weekly, monthly, and other progress meetings held at the site as required by the Project Management Consultants / Employer. Identify constraints, suggest corrective measures in case of any damages or design Inadequacy and provide continual input to optimize design and minimize futile work.
• Analysis of civil, structural and MEP drawings, suggesting improvements, and recommendation of solutions.
• Managing the documentation and design review process ensuring all site teams are familiar with the latest status of the Design process.
• Liaison with the Designers and the Management Consultants including site visits.
• Review of newly issued design with aspects of BOQ and specifications for variation orders.
• Leading a team of up to 12 design engineers / CAD operators
• Assisting with preparation of documents relating to design issues for Engineers Decisions, DRB and Arbitration between LTHJV and CAA. Preparation of Witness Statement for Arbitration and Cross examination done for Package-1 Airside Infrastructure
➢ Worked as Assistant Director Engineering in Rawalpindi Development Authority from 3 September 2007 to 10 Feb 2009.
PROJECT: Lai Expressway & Flood Channel Project
Responsibilities:
o Assisted the Chief Engineer (and later the Director General RDA) in finalization of the Draft Construction Contract Agreement prepared by NESPAK between RDA and FWO. The contract document is based on FIDIC.
o Receipt, Cataloguing, Safe keeping of Construction Drawings and amendments thereof and distribution to different stake holders.
o Worked on Short Listing of Firms for various projects of RDA. i.e. Lai Expressway, Parking Plaza etc.
➢ Appointed as Assistant Director (Technical) in Rawalpindi Development Authority for the project DEVELOPMENT OF ELEVATED EXPRESSWAY FROM MALL ROAD TO FAIZABAD INTERCHANGE.
➢ Worked as Junior Design Engineer in Bukhari Associates, I-8 Markaz, Islamabad from 19 August, 2008 to 30 September, 2008.
