Pre Contract:

• Gather all necessary data for newly received tenders and prepare a detailed Tender Review Sheet highlighting key information for submission to the Business Development and Tendering Manager.

• Review project plans, specifications, and related documents for estimates.

• Prepare and submit RFI’s when tender data or information is incomplete or unclear for estimation.

• Prepare BOQ packages across all disciplines for RFQ distribution to suppliers and subcontractors and collect quotations for tender pricing.

• Develop pricing for work items using internal cost databases, supplier quotations, and market pricing references.

• Conduct pre-bid site visits, attend tender clarification meetings, and prepare detailed meeting reports for the Business Development and Tendering Manager.

• Perform detailed cost analyses for construction projects, considering materials, labor, equipment, and associated costs.

• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates based on project scope, specifications, and current market rates.

• Review tender documents and specifications to perform quantity take-offs and provide guidance for BOQ estimation.

• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) based on tender or IFC drawings and specifications, covering all relevant works.

• Analyze tender documents including drawings, specifications, and BOQs to ensure a comprehensive understanding of project requirements.

• Perform quantity take-offs from bidding drawings and specifications, ensuring accurate measurement of all construction elements in accordance with standard practices.

• Collaborate with planning and procurement teams to ensure the preparation of cohesive and competitive bids.

• Assist and coordinate with the Commercial Director on tender submissions, variation orders, approvals, and the hiring or termination of subcontractors.

Post Contract:

• Responsible for the preparation, submission, and client coordination of running payment certificates, ensuring timely approval.

• Compiling the Revised BOQ with comprehensive backup data, presenting it convincingly to the client, attending all review discussions, and ensuring approval through proactive coordination.

• Preparing Variation Orders Considering RFIs, Client/ Consultant Letters.

• Monitor budget allocations, progress valuations, and cost-to-complete projections.

• Reviewing and verifying the subcontractor’s invoices to ensure the quantities align with the approved BOQ and remain within the approved limits.

• Prepare detailed cost plans, bills of quantities (BOQs), and financial forecasts.

• Preparation of cross-section for earth works in AutoCAD Civil 3D and find out the quantities of Earth work (Cut and Fill).

• Establishing weekly progress tracking and reporting mechanisms to assess project activities, including quantities and milestone achievements.

• Maintain commercial records including agreements, approvals, and cost logs and monitoring ongoing activities with scheduled frequency.

• Quantity take-off for all Executed works, including MEP, roads and bridge elements, including structural concrete work, bar bending schedules, landscape, excavation and filling work using AutoCAD Civil 3D, and fit out works.

• Discussing for the drawing issues with technical knowledge and parallel to cost.

• Monitor project costs and budgets throughout the project lifecycle.

• Collaborate closely with the site construction team and QC department to ensure seamless coordination and integration of quantity surveying data into project execution.

• Contribute to the development of commercial dashboards and audit-ready documentation.

• Collaborating with project teams to tackle and resolve technical issues that are connected to the project.

• Takeoff quantities for all roads and bridges elements including structure concrete work, bar banding schedule, landscape, MEP works, excavation and filling work using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

• Preparation/ Review of sub-contractor invoices and ensure that quantities of sub contractors’ invoices do not exceed the quantities in the approved BOQ.

• Support procurement strategy, tender evaluations, and final account settlement.

• Coordinate with technical teams for quantity take-offs and design change pricing.

• Monitoring ongoing activities with scheduled frequency.

• Preparing Weekly and monthly project status reports.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all cost-related information.
