Presently looking after responsibility of Financial Controller at Al-Sorayai Group, Jeddah, K S A who are engaged in Carpet Industry and is the 77th, ranked company in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. They are the biggest producer of carpet in KSA and have a wide range of products traded all over the world. The Group has achieved diversifications in the furnishing industry through acquisitions and setting up sister organizations.

2005- Till Date

Joined the Group as Cost Accountant in 2005 and has been promoted to Sr. Cost & Management Accountant and then to the current position of Finance Controller with the Group. Average Annual turnover of the Group USD 400 Million with a profit of USD 35 Million. The Group is using Oracle based ERP system.

The main areas of responsibility include:

1. Cost Rationalization across the Industrial Group
2. Strategic Planning
3. Inventory Control. The total inventory value managing is about USD 50 Millions
4. KPI Evaluation Reporting to the Board
5. Designing and implementation of the ERP system in Oracle for the Industrial Group |( Manufacturing Resources Planning)
6. Costing, Pricing and Budgets ( Revenue and Capital)
7. Member of the Pricing committee for Carpet and Yarn business for Industrial, Whole sale and Retail customers
8. Pay Roll Accounts for more than 900 employees
9. Accounts Payables for about more than 200 suppliers
10. Associate Finance for the Supply Chain function of the Group
11. Accounts Receivables- International Sales and Whole Sales of about 200 customers.

1993-1995

Main area of responsibility was Financial Appraisal of the Urban Infrastructure Projects on whole India basis. The main projects include Airoli Bridge at Mumbai, Water Supply Project at Bangalore and Jam Nagar, Cochin International Airport etc. All the projects were implemented with the OECF program as well as through USAID. I was also responsible for the release of various subsidies from Ministry of Urban Development, Govt.of India for Sanitation and Urban Infrastructure.
