Responsible for creation of RBI Corrosion Loop.
Conducted detailed study to assess equipment damage mechanism along with Process & Engineering team and optimized inspection interval of assets for process units.
To prepare and assign RBI Inventory Groups for 581 assessments.
To prepare RBI Components, link components to corrosion loop
Reviewing PFD, P&ID, isometric drawing for inspection and CML markups and identify services and categorize for inspection and piping circuitization.
Grouping and finding appropriate damage mechanism, failure mode and determining POF and COF and criticality and providing the mitigation task .
Carry out the RBI 580/581 analysis based on POF & COF
Mapping inspection history confidence and CR if required
Calculate and finalize the RBI analysis
Propose the recommendation of inspection methods on equipment, record maintenance and regulation of inspection methods and resolution of site related issues
Manage the RBI recommendation (Consolidate, Supersede and Not required)
Change RBI analysis status to Submit for Approval using the state management.
Collection of data for RBI analysis thorugh various sources like PFD, HMB, MOC, Material construction diagramsng Specifications, Inspection and Test records
Assures proper implementation of Integrity Management System and its main methodologies and techniques, such as Risk Based Inspection (RBI), as well as advanced NDT inspection techniques in order to maintain high standards of mechanical integrity and safety in the plants.
Reviewing Design documents, General assembly drawing (GA), Data sheets (DS), manufacture record book, Fabrication Drawings, equipment strategy, inspection reports of the equipment to plan integrity of the equipment based RBI recommended practice.
Monitoring and surveillance of integrity parameters to ensure reliable operations.
Continuously reviewed corrosion monitoring & inspection strategies to ensure that they remain appropriate for the particular assets assigned.
To review the provided data by team and update on Master Data sheet.
Participate with inspection team to prepare Inspection scope of Plant equipment and piping considering the criticality and service.
Assessment of findings and to suggest repair as per requirements provided by respective code.
Determine Plant equipment and piping criticality on the basis of RBI analysis and formulates strategy for reducing downtime
Hands on experience on RBI software Meridium and CIMS .
Providing integrity support for static equipment inspection throughout company areas of operation to ensure all process, utility and associated plants operate safely, efficiently and reliably. Static equipment comprises tanks, pressure vessels, heat exchanges piping and pipelines.
Performing risk-based inspection (RBI) assessment of static equipment to identify the criticality of the pressure equipment and assigning inspection strategies based on the result of RBI analysis.
Carry out corrosion related investigations of equipment failures and selection of the required repairs and quality control tests to restore equipment integrity.
Facilitating Risk Based Inspection workshops and providing the material & corrosion input to the development of corrosion control and inspection strategies.
Preparation of piping corrosion circuit and corrosion looping by referring P&ID’s, PFD and class specification sheets, which is utilized by RBI assessment of piping.
Preparation of piping corrosion loop as part of RBI assessment by referring PFD’s.
Performing RBI assessment on each equipment and responsible for generating RBI recommendations and inspection scope for each credible deterioration/damage mechanism.
Preparation of data sheets to gather the required inputs from various departments as part of data gathering and ensuring the quality of the data to get accurate results.
Ensure the accuracy of the inspection and thickness data in the RBI software (Meridium).
Reviewing previous inspection report and current condition of the equipment to evaluate the corrosion rate of the equipment.
