rotary machines (pumps, fans, compressors, gas turbine, rotary drums).
* Performing internal, external and on-stream audits of process equipment for identification of
problematic areas and their rectification for increased process and equipment reliability
resulting in achieving production targets.
* Preparing inspection reports, recommending and monitoring repair works and maintaining
equipment history and record.
* Performing detection and monitoring of deterioration (damage) mechanisms and analysis of
failures and giving recommendations for corrective / mitigation actions.
* Performing inspection and assessment of refractory damages observed in critical plant
equipment for safe and continual plant operation.
* Developing Quality Inspection and Test plans (QITP) for critical replacement and repair jobs
executed in annual turnarounds / outages.
* Reviewing mechanical packages for modifications as per KREBS, Bechtel & SNAMPROGETTI
specifications and other applicable procedures.
* Determining effective techniques applicable to assess the equipment condition and evaluating
results of various NDTs as per applicable acceptance criteria.
* Thickness monitoring and results recording of plant piping and equipment as per API-570
guidelines.
* Corrosion under insulation (CUI) inspection of plant piping and equipment as per API-570

* Supervision of cathodic protection (CP) system for under-ground piping / structure as per NACE

vessels.
