Perform regular monitoring of security devices for alerts, logs, and potential anomalies, responding promptly to incidents and documenting resolutions. Collect, analyses, and securely store logs from various security devices (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM) for compliance and historical analysis.
Review, update, and implement security policies, standards, and procedures on security devices to ensure alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements.
Perform routine health checks and backups for security devices to ensure optimal performance, quick recovery, and data integrity.
Test recovery procedures for effective data restoration and maintain accurate documentation of configurations, changes, and operational procedures.
Manage integrations of security solutions with other platforms (e.g., SIEM, SOAR) and maintain correlation rules to enhance detection and response capabilities.
Investigate and conduct root cause analyses for escalated operational incidents, proposing long-term solutions to prevent recurrence.
Optimize configurations of security devices to enhance performance and strengthen security effectiveness.
Implement automation for security processes, such as incident response, log management, and reporting, to improve efficiency.
Generate and submit regular reports summarizing security incidents, performance metrics, and compliance updates to inform management and support decision-making.

Troubleshoot network & application related problems & provide support to other Technical staff.
Design and maintain a data network environment, which includes configuration of network Hardware.
Work closely with system administrators, network engineers and other members of the Operations team to implement and maintain high quality data services for the data center.
Provide leadership for project implementation, system configuration and design, training of other technical staff.
Manage network support staff to ensure excellent user support pertaining to the LAN. Maintain the LAN/WAN using up to date tools and software to maximize up-time and to manage network
Provide direction to an IT Security team in the areas of design and implementation of IT
Deliver Strategic Vision as it relates to Information Security.
Analyze & troubleshoot problems and recommend corrective actions.
Evaluate different products in the area of Information Security.
