Revive the role of institutional research and effectiveness in the university after a period of vacancy and Advocate the office services and support to faculty and staff.
-Build up an information repository for internal and external reporting supported by steady information capture and survey administration.
-Establish and introduce a unified and structured administrative and academic assessment
processes and train faculty and staff on principles of accountability and outcomes
assessment.
-Lead and actively develop current and new policies and procedures, consulting with
function owners, local and federal applicable laws = and related frameworks.
-Lead and contribute to institutional licensure and program accreditation self-study development explaining standards, suggesting approaches, reviewing narratives and examining provided evidences.
Summary: Lead activities of Institutional Research and Effectiveness
* Review and propose changes to current strategic plan and map objectives to sponsor’s
objectives. Consult with constituents to set targets and action plan to achieve. Design and
lead development and implementation process of vision, mission, strategy and annual
planning and evaluation. Develop measures and targets and provide training and
workshops.
* Data sourcing, analytics and insights preparation reflecting on current situation and
recommend actions to governing board, advisory board, senior management, school
community & other Constituents.
* Chair Risk Management Committee, Policy Committee and Document Management Task-
force as well as participated in Executive Committee, Academic Council CAA re-
accreditation task-force and ADEK re-authorization task-force.
* Review policies (and recommend changes) in coordination with concerned departments
and external entities to ensure compliance with local law and regulatory authorities’
requirements.
* Act as a liaison between regulatory authorities and the institution as well as reference
point for licensure & accreditation requirements, standards and self-studies.
* Promote Culture of accountability & effectiveness among faculty by providing technical
& professional advice to individuals and groups on planning assessment, identifying
objectives, setting outcomes, selecting measures, setting targets and monitoring
progress.
* Review assessment plans for alignment with institution’s strategic plan, core values and
best practices. Assist programs and units in measuring targets; identify key issues and
proposing action plans.
* Prepare an annual report highlighting achievements & improvements of programs and
units over the past year.
Lead in charge of Quality Assurance and Improvement in Academic and Administrative
departments.
-Led all quality initiatives and projects including planning using suitable methodology, educating users on tools and techniques, drafting project charters, and identifying requirements.
-Supervised assessment process across the university as well as provide technical and non-technical support to users ensuring cycles are closed on time and with appropriate results.
-Designed, published and communicated surveys to meet audience needs.
-Analyzed results quantitatively and qualitatively and prepared data insights reports.
-Conducted comparative and investigative studies and analysis to identify underlying trends and hidden causes of issues.
-Identified sources of data and developed extraction, transfer and storage mechanism.
